Really the only thing that bothered me about that bio was the authority with which it was written.
Its a crock - we know that, but its irksome that some fool who probably never even came face to face with Paul, can presume to write about his life with such conviction, when a lot of the so called "facts" are wrong.
That's a very misleading article.
And because of that I'm going to complain.
PS. I've had to register. That could be what this is all about. Number of new subscribers per month. Anger and indignity can always be guaranteed to move people.

Here's an idea - one of us puts up a bio on the author! Because more than likely we know as much or more about him than he does about Paul, Neil, Nick and Tim.

... Wait a minute! Don't we have some bios on all the Frenz releated stuff found right here on the home page of our site? We're the Frenz. Forum are we not I think these bios are proberly written by PG anyway coz some of them seem to come from early Frenz Fan Club newsletters.

Wow, his bio of Peter is just laughable!
e.g.: "Some of their popular songs were...'Black Fella, White Fella' which also examined the plight of the countries Indiginous people" - This was written by the Warumpi band and although they may have performed it, it was hardly one of 'their popular songs'.

Just found this yesterday and opened up a new thread (by mistake) about it, and must add that I've also submitted an email to them as it's still up there. Seriously, that's not acceptable. Off to read the other ones and probably send off a few more emails! Briggs... hmph. Must refrain from commenting as will more than likely hugely offend...

I'm not sure which bio we're discussing, but it's possible I've read the same ones. I was browsing a few weeks back and came across a horrid bio on Paul. Basically it said that from the moment he joined CH, he was miserable and that he couldn't stand Neil!! It was just awful, and basically boiled down eight to ten years from 'Something So Strong' into one paragraph...and only used the bad bits. It made me angry at first, but then I figured that the real fans would know garbage when they saw it.
Speaking of Bio's are there ever going to be any on the Crowded House page? I check all the time and there never there. If there never going to put them on the site why have a section for them? The site could use some work. It would be nice to have some better video and photos, or just more added. I am full time musician and my site is always a little behind but there is alot of fun stuff in all the sections to check out. It is important to keep a site fresh and updated. The forum and the tour section are the best parts of the site. I am glad that there both current and up to date. Scott www.scotthallock.com

As stupid and disrespectful as that bio is, I couldn't help but laugh when I read this: "But it was all a front - music was what he loved and he needed to get back to the stress free days of drumming without Neil Finn."

Holy cow! I had no knowledge of this thread ... after reading that Sister Madly was about Neil's sister, I was trying to find out more about her (I didn't realize that there were other siblings outside of Tim and was just curious if they were performers as well). One of the links was to Paul Hester's imdb profile and I was floored when I read it! I can't believe that trash is still on the site. It's just awful.
