Hi Guys

I wanted to start a discussion to encourage all those that are in a position to make this happen. And your support would be greatly appreciated.

What i would like to see by the record companies or by today's producers is a special re-release of the 1986 debut album by Crowded House, self titled - Crowded House.

With all the proceeds of the sale of this album to go to establishing a fund for Paul's children and also some of it to go to organisations such as BeyondBlue that do a great deal of work in mental illnesses and suicide prevention.

I believe with a special re-release of this album tremendous support would be shown from not only around Australia but also around the world and i would even believe that the album would easily make it into the Top 10 if not number 1 in this country.

I would be eager to hear what the rest of you think about this and i would be particularly interested to hear from anyone on here who have the contacts to make this happen.

This is my first post on this site. I only joined to make this suggestion.

Paul was a great human being & there are many many people out there who are suffering like he was suffering & his young children need to be supported.

This would be a fantastic idea. I would personally love to see a Paul Hester compilation, bringing together his best songs throughout his career as voted by the fans. That would be an equally fitting tribute.

I've got the original 1986 album in my cupboard. I can't really bring myself to take it out.

I'm all for this release

I've been thinking about a release of this type, but I think I have something that might be better suited to this cause this it's directly Paul related.

Does everyone remember that solo album he was working on that got shelved? I'm thinking, providing that all the vocal work is complete, why not get Neil, Tim, Nick, Mark and Peter Green and a few other of Hesters friends to help complete the instrumental parts it and release it as a tribute to Paul?

This is what happened when George Harrison died, he had an album in the works and it was picked up by his family and friends to help complete the album. It's avaliable today. Is it possible?
