Just wondering if Paul Hester's grave site has a tomb stone as yet? This topic was talked about a year or so ago and people wrote it looked cared for with personal belongings but not officially marked with a tomb stone.

Last time and the only time l have visited the grave site was a few days after he had been laid to rest. I would love to pay my respects and visit him again but l would like to see an offical tombstone.

Yes, I believe the Gravestone is up and has been for a little while now.

RIP Paulo.

Blackwood is a sleepy hill village. Lots of little old cabins, that look like they've been passed down through the generations. Smoke stacks were going, the lovely smell of woodfire in the air. It was rather crisp, round midday, for the 1st day of November.
Lots of bulb flowers, pinks, purple, yellow and whites scattered round the cemetery grounds. A lovely, peaceful spot.

Took the Blackwood exit from the highway, mentioned to the beloved that Peter had mentioned spooky signs, lo and behold, there be a flock of cockatoos feeding on the ground, see, I told you, I said. He just lifted his eyebrows, in the next second, History Never Repeats, came on the radio. That got him good!!

Thanks Kel. I've not been up there since before the stone went up, so it's nice to see it.

Thanks Kel. It is nice to see the tomb stone is finally there. It is very touching that they put "Hessie" on it too.

Thanks so much for the photo Kel. I hadn't been there since October 2005 and the only thing there was a small piece of bark with his name on it, and the little statue of Liberty which is still there!! I too had the spooky Cockatoo experience. I couldn't find the grave and was getting quite distressed and this one cocky flew over and landed at the top of the hill, so I followed it, and low and behold.............there was Pauls grave. Weird huh?

Even my 7 year old son misses him, but he misses him as Chef Paul from the Wiggles. =o)

Thanks Kelly.

That is so weird!! I just looked up the location and realised that Blackwood is near Trentham which is where my family came from when I was growing up. We used to spend every Christmas there, so Paolo was only 15 klms from where I was celebrating Christmas. I have always felt a strange affinity with Paul......this makes it stranger.
