Went to see the (Australian Rules) AFL game between Hawks (GO HAWKS!!!) and Brisbane, which we won so it was all good.

In games I have been to recently, it seems that the AFL have taken to playing music in between quarters of the game, and to my surprise at that particular match they were playing the SWHHW compilation. We got Stuff and Nonsense, Pineapple Head and Persuasion while I was in my seat and not trying to get food. I was delighted.

I thought Neil was a St. Kilda fan.
Remember some vague reference to The Saints mentioned somewhere.

Stuff & Nonsense hey, was that an oblique reference to the Hawks finals hopes? Only joking.
Pineapple Head cold be a song about anyone in the Lion's forward line. Big Grin

Are we talking about soccer?

In which case, Neil is a Liverpool fan.

(I may be completely missing the point here. Roll Eyes)

I think he is/was a Liverpool fan too Suzanne Smiler (on ya Neil) although of course he was wearing the Irish soccer jersey at Fleadh.

I've heard The Enz played at NZ V Wales rugby matches too

Tim mentioned the All Blacks quite a few times as well, I guess our guys are quite sporty! Wink Neil said at Homebake in one of the interviews that he went for a run... so there you go!

Although golf... sorry Tim! Big Grin

Fingers crossed for you, Finngirl!

On the A&M release of Frenzy, Stuff and Nonsense has a spoken intro dedicating it to the All Blacks.

My post was talking about Aussie Rules - I know it as footy cause I live in Melbourne.

I'm pretty sure that Tim swims regularly - I think I might have heard that on the Finn Brothers Max Session.

I know Tim does, I think he mentioned it on his MySpace page. I also heard him talking about playing a few rounds of golf with his dad, Richard. I'm not sure which interview that was though, but it wasn't that long ago. It was somewhere on NZ television.

So, soccer and footy are not the same thing then? Confusing!
