it's only a very short snippet of the intro, but top gear featured Edible Flowers in the Season 5 episode at the start of the segment where they decided to see how many bouncy castles an ice-cream van could jump over. for the record it was 1 and a half Big Grin

OOh yeah - I remember that when they showed it on TV...

Very exciting... think it was originally recorded around the time of the single - so it was 'topical' too!

Was it the Stig listening to it? A new season has just started on SBS here in Australia, loving it (especially after having withdrawal symptoms after the end of the last season) Always knew they had good taste. Afterall James May is a musician.

IIRC... it wasn't the Stig... it was the first part of the intro on the beginning of one of the features (but I'll go with Greatfox's idea of ice-cream van jumping!)...

These things usually crop up on youtube from time to time if you're interested... though I'm not sure about the copyright of these things...!

Can't wait for the new series to start - hopefully not going to be too long now seeing as the Hamster's started appearing on chat shows Wink

I also can't wait - am so excited. Just to let you know that it starts this Sunday 28th Jan at 8pm on BBC2 (UK time.) They're filming it today - just wish I was there!

*hopes nobody's noticed how big a Hamster fan m.m is*

Despite watching Top Gear repeats almost constantly I haven't come across EF yet. Will keep my ears open. I always seem to miss these snippets on the TV.

MM - I too am a massive Hamster Fan (although I love Clarkson and May almost as much - is that wrong!), can't wait for Sunday. Big Grin Big Grin

it's only a couple of seconds at the start of the ice-cream-truck-jumps-over-bouncy-castle clip, but it grabbed me!

M.M - put your name down on the list to go watch the shows... it's bbc.co.uk/topgear and follow the links - but I think there's a big waiting list!

Bletherskite - if you want to see it go on youtube and search top gear ice cream van - I found it pretty quickly that way Smiler Like greatfox says it's only the first couple of seconds... but it's there Wink

Yeah, I think there is a long waiting list - although I have heard people getting tickets quicker by phoning up!
Have you put your name down too Alx?

Bletherskite - it's great to find another Hamster fan! I loved Sunday's show. Good to have TG back!

Not on the list yet... will probably wait until the taught part of my course is finished at least... taking a random Wednesday off may not always be feasible... But it's going on one day...

Ooh... and more on topic... wonder if we'll get to hear some Crowded House on the show later this year...? Why not eh?!

That would be a good thing - could even have Neil as the star in the reasonably priced car!

I LOVE TOP GEAR. Haven't noticed any CH/SE kind of references yet but now that I know, it makes Top gear that much better, and I'll have to keep an ear out Razzer
