I have The Ladder Song from Other Enz, but have NO idea of who's singing. I think it might be Geoff, but not sure. And on Citizen Band, did their records chart anywhere?

Yeah, it is Geoff Chunn singing on 'The Ladder Song'. Generally speaking, Geoff (vocals/guitar) was the lead vocalist on all Citizen Band songs, while the other members (Greg Clark, guitar; Mike Chunn, bass; and Brent Eccles, drums, later briefly replaced by Roland Killeen) provided backing vocals.

Being a Kiwi band that never got far beyond their home shores, their success was confined to NZ. None of their singles saw any chart action, but their three albums made the following positions...

Citizen Band (1978) NZ #27
Just Drove Thru Town (1979) NZ #18
CB Bootleg (live) (1980) NZ #48

They also released a "best of" in 1993, titled Rust In My Car, which is the only CB CD available (and well worth seeking out!)

All in all, a great band that deserved way more success.

Hope this helps! Big Grin
