I'm sure you all know this anyway but those of u in Australia who dont have Mark Hart's solo album Nada Sonata it's been added to itunes! and it's awesome!

get on there and download it.

I'd really rather buy the solid product and have it in my hot little hands.


I love what I hear, it sounds fantastic. When I first listened to the samples from his site I was incredibly pleasantly surprised by the Tim-Finn-with-an-american-accent vocals, and the melodies are awesome. My kind of music for sure.

But from where can I buy it? Where can I order it? Does anyone know from where it is available??

EDIT: My bad. Just found it in the PBS records store. Should have gone straight there in the first place, instead of going round in circles and getting stressed out. Another 'crowdies' CD to buy!

It's fairly hard to get hands on the actual album. I got mine about a year and a half ago, but even teh one I have was through Amazon Marketplace after a failed attempt at buying it through PSB records. Further, the copy that got sold to me, if this is an indication of how scarce they are, was a promo copy.

Wilbury, I do like your comparison of Mark to Tim Finn on vocals because that's somewhat the role Mark servesvocally in Crowded House. He does those lovely high harmonies with a light touc that is needed for singing in that range.

I want the album too....any clues where to get it?

I've made do with the iTunes version so far...I should try and get my hands on a hard copy though to add to my collection. It's a great album.

In kind of related news, I found out that Mark with John Helliwell from Supertramp had a jazz group a couple of years ago called Creme Anglaise, Mark playing keys and guitars and doing vocals on some songs. You can get that self-titles album off iTunes too.

Just bought my copy from iTunes. Will still keep an eye out for it as a CD at a reasonable price though, but at least I can listen to it now.

I have been trying to order it online from pbsrecords but can't get past the 'confirm order' page. Would much prefer to have actual CD but might just have to try iTunes.
