Does anyone know where to find the two ENZSO albums? I've seen ENZSO 2 in Planet Video, Perth, Australia, but I've never seen the first one. Can anyone help me?

Google is a wonderful thing, it can give many answers to your questions.

The US edition of ENZSO also has two videos you can access on your CD Rom drive. Don't remember what they are, however no other version contains these.

Happy hunting! Smiler

As had I Wink

I've just purchased Enzso from Ebay but I'm not sure which one it is.

A woman at work was humming a Split Enz tune, and I was so impressed that I asked her if she was a fan. She said yes and asked if I'd heard Enzso. When I said I didn't have it, she said well you better get it. Big Grin

So I did.

I wasn't aware of the US version though, so many thanks for that bit of info. Smiler

I got my Enzso from Ebay New Zealand but if the US version has extra's...I wouldn't mind grabbing that version as well.

I love Enzso # 1 ...it's terrific--especially love MTMG Smiler

It was MTMG that the woman at work was humming. Smiler She reckons its spectacular.

I'm dying to get this CD now. Should be any day.

The first album I really like. The second left me pretty cold. From the second it weas really only One Step Ahead and Maybe that I liked, the rest seemed overblown and bloated, though I quite like Shark Attack.

Nothing beats Dirty Creature and My Mistake on the first album. Duirty Creature is epic, as in biblical proportions Big Grin

Every one has different tastes, you may love the second one TR Smiler The lack of Finn presence is very noticeable, and I thought the arrangements just weren't as good, far more safe than the first album. Having said that, Sam Hunt's deadpan delivery of Shark Attack is pretty darn fine, Bic or is it Boh, Runga does a superb job on One Step Ahead, the rest I can pretty much leave. Dame Kiri is a bit too melodramatic on Bon Voyage for me, the rest is all pretty forgettable to be honest. Pioneer and Six Months are clumsy arrangements IMHO, and Frenzy lacks all the energy and mania of the original The first album is fantastic. Stranger Than Fiction and Under The Wheel are orchestral epics that totally enhance the originals. The only thing that I didn't like on the first album is Strait Old Line. It was great to see live too.

Out of all my Finn related albums EnZo #1 is the album the beloved plays the most.
I rarely hit up #2. Not enough Finn for me.
Sam Hunt was the most standout performer of the ringin's.

Just about killed me sitting in the chair for the whole thing !

Thanks guys. Smiler I think this has probably made up my mind for me.

I'd still like to get that previously mentioned US version - hopefully that's full of Finn.

I didn't end up pursuing Enzso # 2 either, due to distinct lack of Finn...but I probably would buy it if I came across it in my travels, just to please the completist imp that lives on my shoulder.

I don't want to say anything about this version of MTMG so Texas Rose can enjoy her anticipation but...it's pretty deadly...Enjoy!

The two videos are Neil's 'Message To My Girl' - stunning. The other is 'Poor Boy' - Dave Dobbyn.

The US version is actually easier to get than the original Aus/NZ version.

Two CD single were also released: 'Message To My Girl (+ Stranger Than Fiction & Time For A Change) the other, Poor Boy (+ I See Red & Albert Of India)

Yup - I have the enhanced US version with "bonus videos" - picked up for like $5 at the used record store - and there's no Albert of India.
