Somebody I know indeed very well will possibly interview Mark Hart on Friday when he's in Bonn. My friend asked me to ask you out there what questions you would ask him if you could ask him something about his last album and ..well... whatever... If you have good and serious questions they might appear online soon!!!! Your chance!

Any Chance of doing a solo album tour?
Will there be a follow up album?

Who is Ken Segall and how did the collaboration to write half the songs on the album come about?

The album is dedicated to her, It's about his young daughter who died from an infection in the early 90's the story is in Something So Strong the book.

Wink I agree with you, Silke...Mark seems so gentle and...well...shy. I can think of LOTS of ?s, but I think they might scare him! Wink

I wouldn't say e was shy, he was only very very friendly, smiling all the time and everybody seemed to like him there, I felt quite comfortable there with him. I was really nervous first. I mean.. It's THE MARK! I forgot about that after 2 min though... Then he was Mark, the friendly guy Smiler

i posted this to the mailinglists:

Just back from Bonn, from seeing Supertramp and well, the show was great if
you take away all the songs Rick Davies sang *cough cough* - sooo sorry, but
mostly then I was just bored *ducks*. The old songs sang by Mark Hart and
Jesse Siebenberg were just.... better and simply great performed!

I took lots of Photos from row zero of Mark and the other guys that I'll put
up on a website as soon as I got them back. The light of the show was about
the same as the one of the days when I took these
(http://www.geocities.com/sillyheartism/onenil2001/)photos here so they'll
propably be similar I guess. Another thing that I'll put up on the website
is the interview that I did with Mark before the show, it was very cool and
I'll type it down for you completely as well as post the soundfiles that
I'll take for my radio show. We talked about his solo stuff, Supertramp and
Crowded House, I guess you might like it Smiler

He's a very nice person, I admit I was a bit nervous before, but there was
no reason for that. He was just friendly and seems like a very intelligent
person, nice to talk to. "Somebody seen sooooo often on videos and read
books about" wise

Among other things he told me that he has a new website up, that is:
www.markhart.net - you'll love it, there are some very very cool photos,
like Mark with 16 and Mark with really dodgy hairdos and so on, it's
definitely worth a look.

He also told me he might ask Neil Finn how to do a webcast, invite some
friends and do one Smiler

More when the website is up Smiler Will start tonight by transscripting the
interview Smiler

A recommendation: buy his album, I've listened to it for so often now and
it's really soemthing that Crowded House fans AND Supertramp fans will
definitely like. Not only because a Finn and a Siebenberg and a Hugo are
mentioned in the cover Wink

Thanks to Chris and Camille and PSBrecords for making this possible Smiler

Cheers,
Silke

yes, that looks good! Smiler I like the one of him with his friends smiling brightly Smiler

It's so strange to have talked to him, he's really so down to earth that he lost his complete status in my admirable music heros list... no he didn't, only in a way... Smiler He was too nice to be only admired and to be above me Smiler

People like Neil want to be treated as if they were above I got the feeling.. there's no comparison between these men.. Neil always rteats you as fan - I hate that sometimes!
