I saw the video a couple of times while I was in NZ (very recently...returned four days ago)and noted Neil's longer hair...that's what first made me realize it was him when I saw him out running the other morning - I noticed the hair, then looked at his face and realized it was in fact him (though I would've no doubt realized it even if I hadn't recently seen the video!)

I'll have to watch video hits on the weekend, I'd love to see this clip on the 'big' screen and I'm very happy I will get to see the song live. Must buy the album when it comes out here on March 4th.

That is indeed Anika Moa in the video. She also sang backup with Shayne Carter and Anna Coddington at the Auckland shows that Bic did back in November (along with Neil). No doubt Anika will be along for the ride in the upcoming Bic shows. Does it say 'Magic Explained'? I can't quite make it out, but that's what it looks like to me.
I just love this song. I'm hoping this will get released in the US eventually and Bic will make her way here again. I saw her twice last year when she opened for the Finns and thought she was fantastic. ---------------------------------------------- Joyce |
