I have hardly any Finn or Enz-related songs on mine, mainly because I've always preferred the recordings of live gigs to any of the actual albums. Hence the live show 'Foreplay' is on there, but Temple Of Low Men isn't.

Also these days, the Enz, CH and Neil accounts for about 2% of the music I listen to, so it's full of my old favourites from the 80s, some best ofs from the 90s and any good albums which I've been recommended by friends and fellow Forum-ers.

Actually, I've had a bit of a Tim epiphany just recently. I was on holiday in NZ and genuinely fluked my way to Te Awamutu at the same time as he was playing there. I didn't even know he was touring!

Although his gig was almost entirely Enz/Imaginary Kingdom, it got me revisiting a load of his material I'd had lying around but could never raise the enthusiasm to listen to.

The iPod is an excellent place to put stuff for audition: what you don't like you delete, eventually leaving you with a "best of". Currently, I've got more stuff on there than I'd have given him credit for.

I don't have any Finn related music on my mp3 player, for similar reasons to anselm.

Hmm, reading my reply up above, this has now changed, I now have a best of Neil Finn solo and best of Crowded House on there. There's usually heavy rotation on my mp3 player, at the moment in addition to the two Finn related best ofs, there's also a best of Tom Waits, Family, Custard's final album Loverama, a live King Crimson concert from 1969 and a best of the kinks.

This message has been edited. Last edited by: Camus,

Why Camus you would be included in the *other* artists also on my mp3. Play list would be dance stuff, and Camus's stuff, so you're actually on 2 playlists. Wink
