None of these lists are in order:

Strictly Brothers songs:
Angel's Heap
Where Is My Soul
Suffer Never
Kiss The Road Of Rarotonga
Won't Give In

As you can see, I'm not much of a fan of EIH, but love the Finn album.

Including Woodface/the two tracks on Before & After (top 10):

Chocolate Cake
In Love With It All
Angel's Heap
Kiss The Road Of Rarotonga
How Will You Go
All I Ask
Suffer Never
Won't Give In
It's Only Natural
Four Seasons In One Day

"Have mercy, been waiting for the bus all day..."

Why couldn't it be top 6 so I could include 3 songs from each album?! Big Grin

'Anything Can Happen'
'Bullets In My Hairdo'
'Gentle Hum'
'Last Day Of June'
'Luckiest Man Alive'

And I'm the first to vote for 'Bullets'?!

I'm only going to include songs actually attributed to the Finn Brothers (so no songs like "How Will You Go," which would've been #1, or "In Love With It All").

5. A Life Between Us
4. Tell Me C'mon
3. All God's Children
2. Paradise (Wherever You Are)
1. Anything Can Happen

Is Tell Me C'mon a b-side?

Yes, it was the last EIH b-side released (on the "Edible Flowers" single). The others are "Way Back Down," "Sunset Swim," "Everyday Alright," and "The Land Torments the Sea," which almost made my list as well.

Hey, PamelaS,
I've noticed you seem to be a fan of the first album, but not of the second, just like me.
I reckon the second had potential, but its just a bit too solemn and overproduced.

While the duo-vocal efforts on B&A and Woodface are "Finn Bros" tracks in my mind, it's already too hard to decide without "Weather With You," "How Will You Go" and "In Love With It All" stomping all over the place!

So, best songs from '95s Finn and '04s Everyone Is Here only:
1. Where Is My Soul
2. Anything Can Happen*
3. Suffer Never
4. Edible Flowers**
5. Won't Give In

honorable #6. Homesick. What an awesome drive created by the percussive piano and locked-in harmony! Too bad it loses focus in the second verse.***

*g.d. it they rocked that out live
**lots of people HATE this song, I've noticed.
***Ick, a critic.

In no particular order...

Won't Give In
Edible Flowers
Suffer Never
Angels Heap
Kiss the Road Of Raratonga

Even after I've typed this I can think of at least a dozen other contenders for my top 5...lol; this is too difficult!

I thought it might be idly interesting to rank up what the results have been so far!

Obviously this is only for fun, so I felt free to make a few assumptions to properly reflect where people ranked each song, as well as how frequently a song appears on people's lists. I considered a #1 pick to be worth five times as much as a #5 pick. For the lists that were specifically stated "not in any order" all picks were assigned equal #3 weight. For unnumbered picks without the "not in any order"-style disclaimer, I went with the top-to-bottom assumption.

Here's how it tallies out! Note that there are a large number of ties, which have been given identical rank and then a gap afterwards to reflect as many spots as the tie takes up:

1. Suffer Never
2. Angel's Heap
2. Anything Can Happen
2. Edible Flowers
5. Only Talking Sense
6. Won't Give In
7. Kiss the Road Of Raratonga
7. Last Day Of June
9. Gentle Hum
10. All The Colours
10. Part Of Me, Part Of You
10. Where Is My Soul
13. Paradise (Wherever You Are)
14. All God's Children
14. Eyes Of the World
14. Nothing Wrong With You
17. Bullets In My Hairdo
17. Mood Swinging Man
19. Mary Of The South Seas
19. Sunset Swim
19. Way Back Down
22. In Love With It All
22. Tell Me C'mon
24. A Life Between Us
24. How Will You Go
24. Luckiest Man Alive

I stress it's just for fun! It's not a competition. Wink
