I think I was number 96, so getting close to round two. This was a difficult exercise for me only because my favourite track on an album is never a static thing. One of the reasons I love Finn songs is that they catch at me in different ways at different times.

A quick glance at the results, though, seem to suggest that the big hit of each album (you know, where there was a hit) often polls highest. Is it because it's best known or because it's truly the best on the album?

I'd like to think that the people on this forum has a true appreciation for the entire repertoire and if they don't, hopefully they abstained (since that's why I included it as an option.

A quick glance shows that "Into Temptation" and "Fall At Your Feet" are both ahead on their respective albums. However, I think the big "hits" would be "Better Be Home Soon" and "Weather With You". "Something So Strong" was also a big hit and it's polling quite low.

It was hard for me as well, but I tried my best to think back over my long-term "all time" favorites.

I confess that for some of the very obscure albums where I hadn't heard every track, I just selected my favorite one that I was familiar with.

EDIT: WOW, "Into Temptation" is in the lead for Temple? That's great! It wasn't what I picked, but. GREAT song. Temple was forever my favorite album, until Together Alone pipped it at the post about a year into its release. But now I think Temple has reclaimed the top spot.

Jeez, it's like pulling teeth to judge between! Such excellence, the heart aches.

Can I just say that...I love this band? This is my favorite band.

I mean, I love AC/DC too, but I've never joined their damb fan club. I can't imagine what that would be like. I'd have to get a tattoo of a cannon on my arm something.

That was fun, but oh so difficult. I'm new to the forum. I really love some of the more obscure - Conflicting Emotions is my favorite album, so it was really difficult to choose a "best" song, but I forced myself.

Looking forward to checking out many many more threads.
