I know TR - no mention of NZ. And looks like Tassie will miss out, let alone Europe. But tomorrow's press conference should reveal all.

It's been all over the australian news, which is pretty amazing given they are a NZ band who last performed in Australia in 1980 (I think).

It's definately on!!!!! On the Courier Mail website, there's an article which basically says everying that's been posted. Now, we have to wait for the press conference tomorrow....Yeh!!!!!!!

According to the article in the Age today it's at Prahran's Ormond Hall (which used to be the Reefer Caberet Club, where SE played a major gig back in the day...).

oh for some uk gigs, oh well........i'll have to make do with the DVD ! (I hope!)

Tomorrow (Thursday) on Sunrise on Channel 7 in Australia, Tim Finn will be talking about putting the Enz back together.

So Aussies, tune into Sunrise tomorrow (6am to 9am) to view the interview... wish they would say the exact time though!

Richard Wilkins has announced that ALL SIX members of Split Enz (to tour) will be on "Today" on channel 9(The Rival show to Sunrise) tomorrow morning... sometime Thursday between 6am and 9am.

So tomorrow all us of will have to be flicking back and forward between the channels!

Ok, its tomorrow already. The press conference is going to be in Melbourne somewhere, apparently. I suppose if you have any friends in the tv industry, now might be a time to give them a call & ask them "Any interesting press conferences in Melbourne today?"

I guess all will be made apparent very soon.

I'm so happy to see that the Melbourne show is on a Sunday with a public holiday on the Monday! Great timing!
So I'm definitely going to both the Sydney & Melbourne shows. I intend to drive down to Melbourne from Wollongong - so anyone wishing to have a cheap ride down there - email me. Now I'm just hoping that I can get some leave approved and attend the Brissy show as well! I'm off to book a place at the YHA for the Melbourne show now.
Can't wait! Especially can't wait to see fellow fans whom I haven't seen for a while.

Well, the support band is Evermore. Another New Zealand band. If Split Enz don't tour New Zealand, i think Helen Clark might instigate a full parliamentary enquiry. & quite rightly too.

I know this will not be a popular post but here goes........

My first reaction when I heard about the SE tour was "bummer !!".

Why...because that means there will be no new NF or TF ot FB album for ages as they will be spending their time on all matters SE.

As much as I (once) loved SE, for me the post-SE work of the brothers Finn is just so much better.

I guess I am being selfish in wishing they would concentrate on new material rather than a SE reunion tour.

I realise I could be in a minority here but thats OK.

I don't think you need to worry about delays to the solo albums, Beatsey. Neil's returning to his studio after today's and tomorrow's promo duties and Tim will be recording long before the tour in June. The tour's not a long one anyway and there's no talk yet of taking it further than Australia.
