I was wrong. Eddie did get time to remaster these after all! All of 'em! There are bonus tracks (I wasn't involved in the selection, but I gather there's some stuff even I haven't heard) and "Frenzy" and "Waiata" have been remixed.

Hope that Frenzy is released with the bonus tracks like the yank or AM version. Hoping for another go at 'Holy Smoke'.

It is indeed frustrating trying to get hold of some older cd's. None of the six cd shops I've visited in the last week have had any Enz other than compilations. grrrrrrrr. But luckily a friend picked up Dizrythmia for me and put it in my appreciative hands on monday.

Hope they do make the May deadlines & get those cd's out way before the concerts in June, to catch the extra interest while its there.

About time too. What I'm hoping for (as well as the brand spankin' new sound with bonus tracks) are some informative sleevenotes. However if the packaging is as good as the True Colours remastered CD then I won't complain.

And I bet they will come out just in time for the tour. It would be the perfect time.

This is fantastic news. Are they all released at the same time? Anything on the release date aside from early May (which is oh so close), I have to save my pennies.

I've just got a CD-R from Eddie which compares the original mixes with the new ones. I haven't seen the packaging. Should be hearing the remixed Corroboree/Waiata tomorrow.

By the way, Kelly T - any chance of changing your settings so that there's a line above your "how many sleeps" signature? My eyes keep going to that instead of the pinky purply prose.

By "limited", that normally refers to the digipack. After a while I'd say they'll return to the regular jewel cases, while retaining the upgraded booklets/covers and remastered audio.

Well for one thing, I'd love to see the B\W Gatefold photograph from the Mental Notes LP on the CD insert. It never made the original CD release.

This nearly makes up for not going to Aus for the gigs.

There's interest from Warner Music in getting 5.1 mixes done at a later date too.
