I would still like to get my hands on SYR... I've had it on order with various places online, and they all seem to run out of stock (after I've had it on order for a month usually!)... I've been trying to order it for about 4 months now...

My guess therefore is they are all ordering it in from the same supplier as your shops in Melbourne TR!

One Day....!

I got an email from the Herald Sun HiT website (that was running the comp for a set of all the digipaks) that the Jewel Case versions of the remasters have arrived there, so i expect they'll be making their appearance in stores soon

The jewel case versions of the Enz albums hit the stores on 27th January. This means that production will now have stopped on all limited digipak versions, so if you see any, pick 'em up!

Ah... that explains why most of the limited edition digipaks are unavailable as imports in the UK... was hoping that was the reason!

Still need to complete the set, and not too bothered about the casing Smiler

I just got Frenzy thru See Ya 'Round off eBay from NZ. It's my first time owning any of the Enz on CD, and they sound GREAT!! I will admit that I switched the Corroboree order to US Waiata order, it just sounded all mixed up to me the Corroboree way! Wink

The jewel cases are out in Sydney now, although there were still a lot of digipacks around.

Interestingly, the printing mistakes on the first run of digipacks have gone through to the jewel cases — Frenzy still has the LP tracklisting and the sticker without "remixed," and See Ya 'Round doesn't list "I Walk Away" . . . so maybe it has "Mr. Catalyst," too.

Also, they were all $13.99 at JB Hi-fi, so half the digipacks' price. Not bad.

I FINALLY got hold of a copy of See Ya Round... it's the remastered jewel case.

Doesn't list I Walk Away on the tracklist... but I just had a listen and Next Exit is indeed Next Exit.

I Walk Away does have credits if you open up the booklet though...

So does that mean they have finally corrected the Next Exit/Mr Catalyst mix-up on the jewel case releases?

Looks like it... it's your average Australian import as far as I can see...

And it still says "Next Exit" on the reverse... what I neglected to mention is despite I Walk Away missing from the tracklist at the back, there's a nice sticker on the front which says it's included! If I'd have been buying it from a shop I wouldn't have known what to do!!!

I haven't quite worked out why the jewel cases are on average £7 less though (here that is)...

they're about $15 here, so about half price to the digipaks, I spose it was Warner cashing in on the "Limited Edition" factor

Finished my collection last night with SYR, BOTE and True Colours...sounding good...but I got Mr Catalyst (sigh). I love Spiritual Hunger, but there isn't space in this world for both it and a dodgy early version.
And I agree with all who have said they prefer the original "Things".

still waiting for my signed Mental Notes, but once that's arrived and ripped, I'm going to devote a day to listening from Mental Notes to See Ya Round Big Grin

I don't think the jewel cases are as nice as the digi-packs. I had a bit of a look at the Time & Tide one, & it just seemed to lack that certain something. The digi's seem more like a cultural artifact maybe. Still, for that price, who's going to argue. HMV had some of the digi-packs for under $20 for those who are interested. & i spose i better add the old chestnut "for a limited time only".

I've yet to find the jewel See Ya Round with the "Next Exit" bonus. Watson & i will return with our findings forthwith. Unless we are done in by "the speckled BAND!" Eeker

I just got See Ya' Round in digipak form and I got one with 'I Walk Away' on the listing but Mr. Catalyst on the disc. Does anyone know how rare these ones are? And how different is Mr. Catalyst from Spiritual Hunger?

Thats the one I've got & I got mine a month after release. Obviously after all this time it is STILL the luck of the draw. Roll Eyes

Just buy Mr. Catalyst off iTunes. It's labelled Next Exit, but is Mr. Catalyst.

Muscially it's an early version of Spiritual Hunger, from memory Spiritual Hunger has a different verse, the verse of Mr Catalyst became a bridging section in Years Go By. The chorus of both songs are basically the same, though totally different lyrically.
