i most recently downloaded this song and was curious who wrote it and what album it is on. i know neil sings it and it said the artist was split enz? can anyone help me out? thanks!

"Your Inspiration" is on the Rear Enz CD. Written by Neil Finn and recorded as a demo in 1984, according to the liner notes. The chorus ended up being used in "I Walk Away" on See Ya Round.

The verse of Your Inspiration is reused in a bridge in Can't Carry On as well. Funny how those two songs are next to each other on the Crowded House album.....

- Erm, not here in Australia. But you knew that, right? (Our first CH album doesn't have "I Walk Away" on it.)
