I was going through my iPod and found that I have two versions of Late Last Night, one with a running time of 4:02 and the other 4:06. One of them I know is from "Second Thoughts", but the other I can't place. Any takers?

The other version was recorded prior to Second Thoughts and released as a 7" single in late 1975

It was also released on the first version of History Never Repeats and was recorded in Australia with Ernie Rose as producer. Overall it's the better version, more energy, though the brass arrangement is tidied up and played better on the ST version. IMHO of course Smiler

I have to agree - the brass bit does sound better in that version. Thanks guys! =)

Actually released circa March '76. Much superior to the album version in my opinion. Big Grin
