I read somewhere that 2 enz lp's (mental notes & see ya'round?) had accompanying interview discs.
I'd love to know what these are like, and what questions and comments are made

I've only heard the SYR one. If memory serves me right, they basically go through the album track by track with comments by the songwriter. Plus there was some chat about the end of the band and the recording of the album.

There was also one for Escapade and one for the eponymous Crowded House lp.

There are also interview LPs for Time and Tide and Conflicting Emotions.

The Time and Tide disk has Tim and Neil talking to an unidentified radio interviewer about the album and the upcoming tour.

The Conflicting Emotions disk is an "open-ended" interview with Neil and Eddie - we don't actually hear the interviewer's questions, we just hear Neil and Eddie's "replies". I guess this was designed to allow radio stations to record their own 'fake' interview with Neil and Eddie! Anyway, it's a little disorienting to listen to.

Haven't heard the 1976 Mental Notes (Second Thoughts) disk but I believe it's an interview with Tim in London. Anyone who can help me get a copy of the Second Thoughts or See Ya Round interviews is warmly invited to email me

Ive got tapes of See Ya'Round interview album and Time and Tide. Have the scans for the Time and Tide one as well.

Maybe missing for Enz - Second Thoughts and Conflicting Emotions, I can probably track the Conflicting one down though. *Possibly* have some/all of the Second Thoughts one, I've got an interview on something of Tim in 1976 so maybe that's it - it is unlabelled.

I wanted to mp3 these and stick them up - time has run out though - maybe later in the year or maybe someone else should !
