Yemanja! What gorgeous photos!

Now that I've seen the costumes up close, I have to say "meh" and "wha?" Perhaps they're not being shown to their best advantage, but they don't even appear to fit that well.

great photos everyone! can't wait to see everyone else's

i wish i was aware of the dress rehearsal before entries closed. i was staying in a motel that was a 5minute walk from the westpac centre in christchurch, would have been cool to see some of you. although a few in semi-detached photo look very familiar from the night

& also, great write-ups semi-detached. i've been waiting to see the full enz cast live in what seems like... forever. it was a night i'll never forget, loved every second

after the gig was finished i distinctly heard a few people say to one another "that was soo much better than the auzzie concerts in '06), which made me smile

Sunday March 23rd 2008 - Christchurch (Fantastic Concert by all reports)

Tuesday March 25th 2008 - Wellington (Enz Rocked & Rolled!)

Friday March 28th 2008 - Auckland (1 more sleeps)

Saturday March 29th 2008 - Auckland (2 more sleeps)

I don't know if you are a member of the Fan Club, EyesOfTheWorld, but if you want to avoid disappointment in the future, i would strongly recommend joining the Fan Club, The VIP Email List, & the Frenz Mailing List ASAP. It's the only sure way to avoid disappointment. I was gutted just reading your post. That is just awful EOTW. I would email PG "The Main Man" pronto to make enquiries about all your options. Ouch! I share your pain. Frowner

Fantastic Part 2 there Gav. Sounds like you had a brilliant time. Loved your meeting fellow Frenz anecdotes, brings back many fond memories. It is great to have an illustrated adventure as well. Not sure what Noel is up to in that picture though. Maybe he is polishing his spoons. Big Grin

Loved your pictures Yemanja. I notice that the Enz costumes look pink in your photos, don't know why i thought they were white. Reminds me a bit of the Straight Old Line video clip, only with a 21st Century twist. Fantastic work by the Crombster there. Sleep well Auckland. You may need the rest. Cool

All good missed the Wellington gig but saw the 2 Christchirch gigs. What a great show. They missed out a few of my faves but still put on a great show. Had great seats for the 2 Christchirch gigs. Two more Enz gigs in Auckland to go I will not miss them. Shame that this will be the first and last time I get to see the Enz in concert. I would really like to say the new Enz drummer rocks. Just think I am off to see Crowded House in Dublin in June.

Absolutely love those photos, yemanja. They're the best yet that I've seen...so close-up and intimate. You should be proud of that group shot. Very nice work!

You getting autographs makes me wish I'd been able to go to the Welly show. Never had a chance at Christchurch...to hell with the fully fenced-off exit area!

Right, now I've written a 3,000 word essay on my Enz-perience, I can shut up...a little...perhaps! Big Grin

All the rest of y'all keep them reports and photos a-comin'! Lovin' it all.

Hi! I decided I had to finally join up here after seeing the show on sunday in Chch!

It was the first time I had seen Split Enz (saw Crowded House last year) and I loved it! We had 5th row seats, right behind Finngirl who I recognised from here but was too shy to talk to, lol!!
My photos came out pretty average, but I'm glad to have them anyway!
