no only if you didn't include your membership number...every copy we double check the address on file to make sure it goes to your current address. Those who didnt include membership number would take the longest to pack and locate...

If you wnat to Email me privately (peter@frenz.com) I'll do my best to check the Log book......IF you are part of the Frenz.com website order, those went out today, the rest on Monday. Just allow for postage though, a lot of the reviews on the site are from Aussie and now NZ Frenz...

Cheers
P

the first big batch of website orders were mailed today...(and some on Friday). I've asked Deb to send the 2nd big batch so that way we have mailed ALL of them out.....so it's close if not mailed already.

If you want to mail me privately and include name/address and mention that you ordered via Frenz.com I can let you know if Deb has sent me that order and it's been processed or not. Happy to do so.

Hard to pick a favourite section, but I am loving the "Collectable Enz" part. I wonder which forum member has the most items of the 12...

I don't even have one of those items. Nine years ago I found a copy of the Merry Christmas record in a Melbourne second-hand record shop, but I had a "rational" moment and decided I didn't need to part with my $20.

The "Letters To My Frenz" book looks great. I still haven't sat down and properly absorbed it. Just flick through it occasionally. The front and back covers are very striking. I caught up with Nick Seymour recently and showed him the book. He too was impressed.

It is an excellent book, particually liked the Paul interview. Well worth waiting for.

Eeker
Have you regretted your rational moment Jaffa?

I have that single but it is badly scratched. Frowner Not sure how that happened - probably because I played it to death.

I also love that collectible section. Everytime I'm on Ebay now I have LTMF within lunging range, in case I see anything for sale which is in that section Wink

It makes you want to collect the lot.

Whoever owns the fairly rare items is probably siting pretty Wink

My favourite interview in Letters is the one with Nigel. I've read it a number of times now. No wonder we loved him Big Grin They call him "the Old Codge". I think that should officially be changed to "the Dear Old Codge". Smiler

I got my book today, and typically as one would expect of me, I turned to the Nigel interview first. He's so endearingly long-winded--pure Nigel when he gets on a roll.

I'll have to take a look at the other stuff. Meanwhile, I am sure there will be more rave reviews from those outside Australasia.

re: the Xmas single...in the book, Peter claims that a re-recording of 'Best Friend' featured on it. Unless there was another Xmas single, he's got his wires crossed, right? Confused

There was no "Best Friend" on the copy I borrowed when making Enzology. Maybe Peter's thinking of the Cold Chisel parody?

Weird as I was convinced they did some of 'Best Friend' on the Xmas single. It could be that ours is locked away and I'm always played the copy we got from the master reel thats in the office... which does seem a lot longer...and is marked with part of Best Friend on the Reel Box listing.....

Which means I probably have never ever heard the REAL thing, assumption on my part that everything on our master reel is on the green vinyl single...YIEKS!!! Maybe I need to destroy its mint condition and play it (: (:

See after all these years heaps of stuff that I don't know.... I feel a bit strange playing it... could someone who has the actual single play it and let me know if any of Best Friend made it onto the vinyl...so yours truly can keep his mint one (:

Thanks
Gryph.

NOOOOOOO Eeker

Whatever you do, don't do that.

I'll play my chopped up one and get back to you.

I have to move the needle myself (over the stuck bits - that's how bad it is) but I'd rather that than have a mint one played Big Grin

At least mine has the guys' signatures on it. And its green Cool

Apart from one little glitch, the rest of it actually wasn't too bad.

Keep that mint condition mint gryphon - no Best Friend at all on here Big Grin

LTMF lists Peter's "favourite" collectible items. It could well be that there are quite a few more collectible things hiding out there.
