Finally got my hands on my copy - what a great read. Congrats Peter on something as essential as it is interesting.

Don't think that I didn't catch the correction of Neil's handwritten spelling of "damn" in his letter to the Frenz from 1983, on the Environfest! Had to get out my old original to verify that I wasn't going crazy. Typically attentive to detail and perfection - brilliant!

A great book, and well worth the wait. Many thanks Peter.

Thanks John

hopefully more such chunky books on Tim, Crowdies etc in the future, be nice to have them on all of them.... just a cost thing at the moment I'm afraid.

Glad you enjoyed it though.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you PG for an excellent book! Your attention to detail is most evident and I especially love the interviews of the band. I'll be looking forward to any books you put together in the future. Without you the Frenz
would not be the same -- Thanks for all of your hard work!

Welcome Shadows Ahead!

You've said it really well, and I think we all agree with you! Kudos to Peter! Smiler

second reading in the chapter on the history of Frenz has left me with a burning question.
Hey Peter, I read there were Frenz barbecues with band members in attendance, can we have another one for those of us who weren't born when these events were happening?? Razzer

be great to do another BBQ or get together , I think the last time a cluster of Frenz were together was a rather speedily put together soccer match at Kensington Gardens on one of the Neil solo tours... (the boss still gives me heaps for rather too quickly volunteering to play in the opposite team).

Who knows hopefully another bbq or picnic later on in 08... a lot depends on the band, time etc.

After grabbing every last little bit of remaining stock, we are down to 11 copies of the Enz book.

I think Deb has it on the merchandise area (head to www.frenz.com/16min/ and merchandise is on the bottom of the page) so if you don't get it via the club you can still grab one of the last 11 copies via Frenz.com

At this stage no plans for a reprint. When it's all sold out that's it.

Gryph, I'd like to point out that the Six Months In A Leaky Boat piano roll isn't limited to 3 rolls, my Auntie got a catalog of rolls from a supplier in Adelaide a few years ago and Six Months featured in it, I suppose it's still pretty rare though now that the Mastertouch factory has closed down Frowner

I didn't think they went for it in the end.

It might of made the catalogue but got cancelled, my grandfather place has a pianola and I remember they tried to order it years ago and couldn't get it, and I've never spotted one anywhere...do any of you guys have this? Would be interesting to find out if it had a real run. I've never seen a royalty statement around it.... but hey you could be right, but you'd think some would of serviced by now. Thanks for that though.
