#13 fave songs per album surveys. To read the rules if your a virgin voter, go to the Aus/NZ Mental Notes post.
OK, Rear Enz (bonus CD with eighties box set) is here. We're almost at the end. The nominees are:

Fire Drill
Your Inspiration
Parasite
Next Exit
Overdrive
Serge
In The Wars
Love And Success
Big Heart
Mr. Catalyst
Remember When

AHHHHHHH!! Eeker This is way too hard to choose! I can't choose between Next Exit, Serge and Remember When. They're also terrific. Frowner S'pose I have to choose though...
I think I might have to go with Serge. Neil's first and arguably his finest work.

Have to agree with Flicker on this one...In The Wars, definitely.

(I mean, how can you go past a song that begins "Prepare to die, Prepare to meet your maker....")

Another tough choice..but I'm going with Your Inspiration cos it's the first and I think only time where Neil shows he has the 'funk'..haha.And being a bass player..it just grooves me pretty darned well. Smiler

NEXT EXIT

Believe it or not, 'Next Exit' is probably in my top 5 all time Enz favorites. I've been dying to hear the Luton version since I read 'Stranger Than Fiction.' (Some things just can't be explained.)

"Fire Drill", even though it might just be for that darn clever doppler-effect Confused bell (c) Eddie Rayner...
