I did vote last night for... I'll give the more experienced forum members/visitors three guesses as to whom I voted for. But I only voted for this particular person cos there isn't one contribution that he made to The Enz that I don't like.

Neil Neil Neil. All respect to Tim but if I was forced at gunpoint to pick just the one singer, it would definitely be Neil.

I personally don't think you can go past Tim, except for the times (Maybe, Stranger Than Fiction, Titus for example) when Tim and Phil sing together - the contrast between their voices was used so well.

Depends on the song. Tim sings my favourite Enz songs and I love his voice but also sings a couple I don't like and quite annoyingly as well. Neil sings some lovely stuff and I've always loved Phil's unique sound on the songs he sings.
I can't vote in this one.

I had to vote for Neil... purely because he has my favouritist voice in the world!

But I think some of Tim's Enz work is just as good so maybe it does depend on the song!

Tim, always Tim. For me he made split enz what i liked in them. Neil was also good but later became better. Paul was'nt a bad singer himself, he did very good backing vocals.
Tim will stay my fav!!

I voted "other" for giggles. It's hard to choose between Neil and Tim since both are so wonderful, though if push came to shove for Enz music, I'd go with Tim.

It's no secret I'm a bigger fan of Neil's than Tim's over all, but fledgling Neil wasn't quite there yet in the Enz days. He had some very high points, for sure, and I love many of his songs with the Enz, but from the Split Enz catalogue, my Tim favourites outweigh my Neil favourites.

Post Enz is a whole other story though....

A few years ago,o.k 13 to be exact!!! while visiting my cousins in Christchurch,I had the opportunity to see Tim play in an intimate setting,to preview his new album "Before And After",my cousin knew the drummer unbeknown to me!
Anyway halfway through his set Tim played my fav "Stuff And Nonsense" and dedicated it to me,I was speechless,I got to meet him afterwards and he signed"Escapade" for me."To Fiona,from Scotland,See Ya Round Tim"!!!
I always treasure that moment,Tim really Is a great guy as well as a songwriter.

Have the signed print Tim And Neil signed for the concert merchandise 2 years ago,still waiting for it to be framed for my living room wall,my husband is in no hurry to frame it,interestingly enough he doesn't love Tim as much as i do,he calls him an old man just to annoy me!!
How do i get a picture of Tim next to my postings i am computer illiterate i'm afraid?
I asked my husband he didn't know what i was talking about!!!
