Just got a chance to listen to enzology - and now I can see why there was so little discussion about each episode on the forum. It is SO GOOD and there is SO MUCH in the series that you just dont know where to start.
But if, like me, you'd like to see Enzology on CD, there is an email address on the Radio NZ Enzology site that you can contact them by to express that desire.

Was reading something about the Enzology thing, and I gather there's several references to people saying the band had seventeen members over the years.
Who am I missing in this list, dear EnzFrenz? I can only come up with fifteen.
In semi-Chronological Order:
01 Tim Finn 02 Phil Judd 03 Mike Chunn 04 Geoff Chunn 05 Miles Golding 06 Mike Howard 07 Wally Wilkinson 08 Robert Gillies 09 Eddie Rayner 10 Noel Crombie 11 Emlyn Crowther 12 Mal Green 13 Neil Finn 14 Nigel Griggs 15 Paul Hester
Who am I missing? Are they counting, say, Ricky Fataar? Possibly some other string person from the early sessions?
Originally posted by Jaffaman.: [qb] Yes, Enzology will be replayed on National Radio in NZ later this year and possibly also on Concert FM (in stereo). [/qb]
Jaffaman - any news on a possible CD release?

Yep, I always thought 15 was the correct figure too. Perhaps they're including Div Vercoe, the session drummer on the first single. In the credits section of the DVD he's listed with the other 15 members under the heading "Split Enz", as if he were a full-time member.
Oh yeah, this reminds me of a question I asked some time ago and got no answer to: an Australian businessman named Marc Holt claims on his web site that he was "in" Split Enz for a brief period during their pre-fame years. I've never come across his name elsewhere, what's the story?

Div Vercoe wasn't just a session drummer according to STF, he played a few gigs with them as well, so he was technically a member, I can only come up with 16 including Div Vercoe.
The only thing I could think was that the 17 includes Ian Sharp, who played cello on 129.
Flicker, you answered my other question - I always wondered who played drums on Split Ends/For You, because I was pretty sure I had read that Geoff Chunn wasn't in the band at the time...
