I know that the enz guys are critical of some of the recordings they made, and how the songs turned out differently to way the way they originally percieved them. like conflicting emotions and the drum machines, but for me the songs sound great to me, they have a certain innocence and beauty, that make them so special. I can understand how they feel,as muscians they wanted to make the best records they could possibly make, meself I love stuff like devil you know, yeah it might sound a bit dated, with that 80's sound, but who cares? I love em. they were a special band, true a lot of the demos sounded better than the finished article, but how I love the enz albums, they were unique.
