Have you ever been walking down the street and heard someone singing a Split Enz song randomly, or standing in a crowd, and suddenly hearing someone breaking into an Enz chorus?
Just wondering whether any of you have had those weird encounters when someone just randomly starts singing Enz material! haha
I was on a camping trip once with this guy, and the only music he listens to is really rap and Top 40 chart stuff, then all of a sudden he just burst into I Got You and sung the whole song word for word! I was gobsmacked! haha

In my experience I'm usually the one doing the random singing of Enz material.

I was in Manhattan once, walking down the street with my headphones on and feeling absolutely shameless about singing out loud to my music (town fulla crazies and a good way to keep the real loons away from you). She Got Body was on and I guess I was singing along with, "I know it's true, I'll never leave, I'll never say goodbye". Some guy walking towards me on Broadway and 60th looked me in the eye and, loud enough to hear above the music, said to me, "so don't leave her!" with a smile on his face. Big smile...

Too funny John, She Got Body was a stand out favourite for me on Thursday night at the Tivoli. Bopped to that the most.
