That's What I Call Love![]() |
While trawling Youtube this morning, I came across a surprising new search result - a new song called "Split Enz" by (puts on old fuddy-duddy hat) some generic young dance music person by the name of "FoxxJazell"???
HerMySpace page is here - be warned, there is ZERO connection to our favourite band - it's all very dance-y and... well, not even good dance... Also, there's some definitely adult lyrics in her other songs! But it is odd to see her using the Enz name (right down to the spelling). I guess there's nothing actionable in titling a song with another band's name, though I'm not sure how Macca would react if someone put out something like this and called it "The Beatles"... Aside from that, I also just found some references and video for a garage band from Florida in '66 called Split Ends! Anyone know if there was ever any problems there, or were bands just not that litigious in those days? All kinda curious... |
