I just found a poem that I wrote many years ago so I thought you might like to read it or maybe have a go at writing one yourself. It is written on the basis of the song titles & some album titles that rhyme with a few bits added to help it along the way. I tried to use very few words in each line but it can become difficult. I'll try & do one for Crowded House & Tim Finn & maybe all the other Enz related artists compiled together.

As I Walk AwayI Walk Away
Along the Strait Old Line
I get very Clumsy
As the Years Go By

It’s a Hard Act To Follow
When Nobody Takes Me Seriously
But How Can I Resist Her
When she Never Ceases To Amaze Me

I was Walking Down The Road
When I got a Giant Heartbeat
I became Lost For Words
But I know History Never Repeats

I thought of a Master Plan
And I decided to Give It A Whirl
I started doing Crosswords
But ended up writing a Message To My Girl

It’s just No Bother To Me
When I’m One Step Ahead
It’s a load of Stuff & Nonsense
When One Mouth Is Fed

I went out Late Last Night
And came across Malmsbury Villa
It was Time For A Change
So I had a beer with Albert Of India

I Wake Up Every NightI Wake Up Every Night
Loaded with Conflicting Emotions
But The Devil You Know
Will always be Stranger Than Fiction

I was Walking Through The Ruins
Like an old Ghost Girl
I was on a Pioneer
In this very Small World

The whole thing was My Mistake
So I decided to Take A Walk
I ran into a Poor Boy
And ended up In The Wars

Now that I’m Bold As Brass
I’m Working Up An Appetite
It is my Mind Over Matter
Thinking of Sugar And Spice

It wasn’t Nice To Know
That I was being Hypnotised
I was lying Under The Wheel
When Neil shifted into Overdrive

The Roughest Toughest Game In The World
And all those other Things
So Long For Now
