Erm, Tammy is no longer with us either Seany with or without cake. Roll Eyes

The T & T lineup was/should be Tim, Neil, Nigel, Noel & Eddie! Mal was not part of that line-up. Not a clue who this Barker is. Confused Perhaps Tim's drummer for his US tour?

I could hardly sleep last night! Kept my girlfriend up for hours talking about how awesome it's gonna be, what merchandise I can buy, etc, etc. This is too exciting for words, man! Big Grin

Ha! You are who I immediately thought of Gav! So glad the guys are coming home to treat you all to some gigs. If I thought for one second that I could pull it off, I'd be right there with you. Just can't do it this time around Frowner

What a treat for New Zealand Big Grin

Who was that drummer? Over here it was Matt Eccles, but he is in his early twenties.

Gav, you lucky man you! Wink

Seany., what is your obsession with Farnsie?? Don't tell me you miss him! Big Grin

BaB, if I will the lottery, I will pay for plane tickets for both of us. But as that doesn't seem very likely... Frowner History never repeats.. Frowner

I really might have to start playing the lottery over this news! Even if I just do scratch tickets. If I win Suze, you're in Wink

Hmmmmm, maybe we'll get a 2008 tour vid. out of this...

So thrilled for Kiwi Frenz and anyone else who can go, but *throws major bratty tanty*

as a last resort, someone's going to have to buy me a t-shirt, my one from the 2006 season is now only rarely worn to stop it from falling apart!

New site at http://www.frenz.com/splitenz/ is up.

There's really not much up there for forum members yet, it's more to direct new people to the news resources - i.e. here and the blog.

There's a whole bunch of stuff that is 90% done including a really cool mini site surrounding the Luton Sessions Smiler

Peter has sent me a bunch of stuff, and there's more to come Smiler

So we're all going gangbusters on lotto tickets then ! Big Grin

Thought someone in Dunner's might be really happy about this !! Gav did I hear a faint squeal of delight?? Oh that's right, boys don't squeal.

Why they don't include Dunedin in the lineup is beyond me. Seems most of the Christchurch concert goers are from Dunedin!! There is Carisbrook Stadium which I'm sure would be rained out and windy, but still have them turn up in droves, from down south and the west coast.

Yup, the mind is calculating.

I've just posted in another thread about this.

I want to be there. I notice its over the Easter (Australia) weekend, which helps.

Thank goodness I didn't get the job which I recently went for, or I'd have been locked in, without having been able to advise that I have a holiday booked in March Wink At least now I can say that in any further interviews (they often ask anyway).

How exciting is this. I want to do all 3 shows if at all possible.

Just spoke with Ticketek, no word on pre-sales like Ticketmaster for Auckland.

http://www.ticketmaster.co.nz/artist/1174109/?search_re...ink=tm_header_search

But if i can scrape up the money i want to be one of the first in at a Ticketek branch for public sales at 9am Thursday 15th November.

Cause judging how quick Crowded House sold out at TSB Wellington.

Either sold out months before the gig, or maybe more dates ?. Confused

I'm thinking I probably wont be able to afford to go Frowner

I'll have to check the budget over the weekend & my YHA book to see if there's a cheap option.

*disappointed look*

Woohoo! I'm totally loving this. I am so there. Will have to see how many shows I can get to with work. Haven't been to NZ for over 20 years, so I'm overdue!

Peter did say those are the dates "so far", so I'm thinking there are others (whether they are other locations or else additional dates in those cities).

Woooo! Michael Barker! What an awesome drummer, I so have to go to this now! Luckily, despite the fact that my 21st was some weeks ago now, my parents are yet to give me a present Big Grin so I've asked for points for the flight to Auckland.
