I am thoroughly enjoying these podcasts of Enzology, in fact, it's because of them that I have finally learned how to process podcasts at all into my player.
I am curious as to why episode 8 was released before 6 or 7. There is a note on the Enzology downloads page that says
quote:
Not all audio is available via podcast for copyright reasons
. Could this be the reason?

The Enzology 8 podcast was accidentally released when some site maintenance was being done. It was quickly taken off the site and will be reinstated at its scheduled time.

After reading this post today, i went to the site and yes, ep 8 'time and tide' had gone already, damn rnzi's efficiency. I guess i will have to wait the 3 extra weeks. I must add that the (high) quality of these worldwide releases really deserves some credit to 'papa J'

I started downloading these when Jaffaman first posted the notice. I finally got to listen today to the first three episodes whilst driving around. Thank you so much for posting the link - they're wonderfully insightful and thoroughly enjoyable!

Jaffa,

I've said before what a great job you did on these and now that the podcasts are available I like to say it once again Big Grin

I'm in the Uk and have been listening to Parts 1 to 6 this week whilst I've been driving about the south of england. I've been singing along to some great music, admiring the tenacity that kept them going despite everything also enjoying hearing each members views and insights. Great! Great! Great!

I'm not looking forward to the end of the Enz but we all know that it wasn't a full stop just a comma Smiler

Thanks again

Paul

I seem to be having some trouble downloading Episodes 6 to 10. The first five were fine but this next batch just won't d/l. The file download dialogue box opens with "getting file information" and then just sits there. Any suggestions?

The biggest compliment I can give you is that, after spending the last 10 Saturday mornings clung to the podcast, I'm moved to go deeper into the Split Enz catalog. Here comes Luton ...

Thank you, Jaffa. Well done!

These podcasts are just amazing. Unfortunately, my family is suffering as a result of me listening to two or more at a sitting (can't stop, ya know). Fast download - terrific quality.

Different than what I expected - what I got was the reinforcement of what enchanting people and extremely talented musicians the Enz all were/are. I love that Canada (our close neighbor) was so warm to them. Ashamed (as always) that the USA was not.

They're really great. I downloaded these podcasts a year and a half ago and keep them in iTunes. I've played them through a few times Playing them again now. Thanks for the mentioning them again.
