Hi all,

as promised management and Warner-Mushroom have moved fast on this (thank you guys). For those of you with faulty discs (see below). The club orders will go out as soon as the replacement discs are ready. We just don't want to send them with any faults to you guys. A big thank you for being so patient & supportive around this. Gryph

If you experience problems with the 'One Out Of The Bag' DVD, please contact Orders@warnermusic.com or free call 1300 36 36 26
with your name and full postal address details and a replacement disc will be issued free of charge as soon as available. Replacement discs
should be available from Monday 3rd December, if not sooner.

Now this is Excellent customer service. Smiler

I have been a Bowie fan for years (hence the mysterious visitor avatar, which isn't Bowie but Candy Clark from TMWFTE just to be more mysterious Roll Eyes), but that's another story.

But never has a Bowie product been recalled beacuse of authoring / audio mix pressing faults, inspite of the fan base complaining at forums. Confused

So all i can say Mr Green is you certainly know your job when it comes to public relations. Smiler

A satisfied fan base is all important with official releases.

I opened my letter box to find an envelope from Warner Strategic Marketing and couldn't figure out what that might be...turns out my replacement dvd has arrived, well before the expected date. Yippee! Haven't watched to make sure all is well yet but it sure was a nice surprise.

I guess this means the problem has been fixed and new copies are available at retail. Saw a whole heap at the Warehouse yesterday and was almost tempted...

My replacement arrived today from Warners Australia.
All i can say is EXCELLENT customer service by the Enz, Mr Green, Mushroom Music and Warners Australia.
Having bought a lot of Bowie product in the past from EMI with problems more severe that this dvd's fault, with a re run never considered.
Re-reviewing the dvd now and indeed the problem with returning to the menu at "Message To My Girl" is fixed (Neil's voice does seem a bit strained during this number but still excellent).
Shame no DTS audio track, but we can't have everything.
What do members find is the best power amp audio mode Dolby Digital standard music ?.
I find PL II X music gives more surround sound, but damm it might just pump it up in stereo mode.
This is a fab dvd with very real performers on stage, no plastic pop stars here, very human, and doesn't Tim seem in his element as group leader. Cool
You do New Zealand proud Split Enz.
Roll on March 2008. Smiler

Is it me or have the slipcases on the replacement copies been printed with a slighter brighter shade of orange? Confused Perhaps for identification purposes...

Has word of the product recall reached New Zealand retailers? What about the copies on the shelves in the shops here at the moment? Are they safe to buy?

Hmmm, what should I do if I'm in the USA with a defective disc but didn't get it through the club? I bought mine from Ezydvd.com.

It just arrived today and I have the issue with it quitting to menu just as they are talking about "Cornfield" before Message to my Girl starts.

do what i did & email warner directly (Orders@warnermusic.com), clearly stating the fault etc, & your name + postage address. within a week & a half (might be a little longer for you, due to location?) i had a new "one out of the bag" enz replacement dvd waiting for me in the letterbox. completely free of charge & i didn't even have to return the faultly copy. plays perfectly, no problems whatsoever

I hear the box set is to contain the jewel case versions of the remasters. Wonder when we Kiwis will get the box. Still haven't seen any jewel case CDs here.
