We would have to assume that a NZ tour in November would most likely mean an Australian tour around that same time.

As Neil freely mentioned the NZ tour on radio, is anybody able to shed some light on approximate Australian tour dates? PLEASE?

I'd say Nov/Dec aswell

I was just on the ticketmaster australia website(ticketmaster.com.au) and did a search on CH just for fun.

Maybe someone can shed some light on this:

Which of the following is possible?

1. ticketmaster.com.au is pulling these listings off the artist listing data for the North American tour (from their parent company)and that is why there are no Australian dates listed.

2. Ticketmaster Australia has some placeholders for CH and has not yet scheduled dates.

3. something else?

If 2. is correct, generally support acts come from the same region as the host venue - and we saw this with Evermore with the Enz last year. Liam would certainly fit under this criteria. 16 Frames doesn't and I'm not sure about Pete Yorn.

I know we need to be patient and PG will let us know as soon as everything is confirmed, but I just thought 'hmmmm....'

I did not dare start another thread called "CH on ticketmaster Australia" - that would have caused a real frenzy and an avalanche of email in a certain inbox.

Any ideas?

maybe theres nothing there cos its the australian site and there are no australian dates announced...

Yes, that is what I would expect and the same for OZ as well

The actual dates aren't an issue as we know we will be advised when they are confirmed. And we are being very patient about this

One of the questions is more along the lines of - will we see this line up in Oz and if not then why is it listed on the Oz site? As far as we know it is the North American lineup

If someone has knowledge about how ticketmaster does these things that will shed the light I was asking for.

Sounds like we are edging closer and closer to a tour announcement!



I just PRAY that it will be much later in the year so that I can organise some time off work. It's simply too late for me to organise any time off in July so fingers crossed it doesn't come to that.

I dont want to get my hopes up too much but a Melbourne show would be so AWESOME!!!
I totally agree with the idea of a show for beyond blue as a tribute to Hessie, and would support this 110%.
Especially with Mental Health Week coming up in October...could be the right time to do it?
