My fave changes over time, like others have said. Right now it's People Are Like Suns (sorry to wreck your non-TOE wager). Last month it was You Can Touch.

Im not sure but i think it might be distant sun LIVE because i dont really like the recorded version but at the moment its Silent House on TOE sorry to do the same thing parula did!

Trouble is, I don't have just one overall favourite but a few joint faves (Distant Sun,Private Universe,People Are Like Suns (sorry)and Nails In My Feet

Would have to be Don't dream it's over (surprise surprise given my login name!!!) with Private Universe a close second

Impossible to pick just one. BBHS, Lowlands, People Are Like Suns, just off the top of my head. Probably easier to name my least favourite (and that would most likely be something from Woodface, not Time on Earth).

If I HAD TO pick, it would be Four Seasons In One Day but there are many close seconds.

The weird thing is, it's the chamberlain that puts it over the top. Sorta like, when I decide that it's Nails In My Feet - it's that keyboard build and the five beat punctuation swirling into a phased whirlpool leading into the final verse that just cements the song into classic status. Perhaps it's the sudden stop to the sound and the segueway into Neil's vocals that arrests my attention.

I don't know what it says about me that it's production values that puts something over the top for me and not Neil's incredible songwriting, both lyrically and musically.

Sometimes it's all about the ear tickle as well as the mind tickle.

I have always loved Not the Girl You Think You Are and will always have a soft spot in my heart for that one. Currently though, English Trees just really speaks to me as well as a great deal of TOE because my father is dying of cancer.

I ADORE THAT SONG it is one of my faves along with lost Island,

I just adore them all and have some many it is hard to pick i adore fingers, but i do love ALL of the new album silent house, one to make you cry, english trees i dont know why people would say not one off the new album!

As Sure As I Am!

There's no way I can only name one, but the song that initially got me into Crowded House was I Feel Possessed, but then Kare Kare, Distant Sun and Fall At Your Feet went to the top of my list too. From Time On Earth I also love People Are Like Suns and Pour Le Monde, (both classic CH songs, in my opinion.) And then there's Lost Island, which I've been known to play over and over again. The list goes on.......

i know i can not choose there are too many classics I too ADORE LOVE etc lost Island i have it as my mobile ring tone most of the time

Fall at Your Feet, if I had to pick only one. Distant Sun and Private Universe would round out my top three probably.

Distant Sun, closely followed by Pour Le Monde, English Trees and Don't Stop Now.

Not much is wrong with it at all, as far as I'm concerned, though I wish that Lost Island had been included on the CD version instead of You're The One To Make Me Cry. It's such a fantastic song!
