Oooh, just as I had hoped. I feel a "summer" (or is it winter?) trip Down Under coming on!! Thanks for the info - will now need to check pockets, down sofa, etc, to find the cash! Could this mean some more dates over there? That would be perfect - here's hoping!

i saw sarah blasko, architecture in helsinki, the go-betweens, die! die! die!, dappled cities fly and finn bros.

it was a fantastic day out, hoping the timetable is good this year because there's a handful of good acts

Agreed Fallingforyou... I did say after The Finn Bros in '05 I would'nt be back because of some of the people I encountered but boo to them. Not letting them stop me seeing The Crowdies. Don't ever let them win

Especially if I am only going to only be able to see shows in/close to Sydney this tour for health reasons.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the guys are coming to Oz at last but I'm not entirely sure I want to re-live that near death experience from Homebake 2005.... what to do, what to do?

why is everyone ragging on homebake 05?

i thought it was great. crowd was very nice for a festival.

At last, an Australian date! I'm sure more will follow.

Yep, agree with you Tine - let's hope this is the first of many gigs for Australia/NZ - just post the clips for us in the Northern Hemisphere!

For me, it was just I came in contact with a few nasty folk in '05. plus I fainted during The Finn Brothers set
But like I said,I'll still go(assuming I can get tix)can't miss The Crowdies if I can help it

also, i think some people had a real problem getting out of the crowd after the Finn Brothers concluded their set and it was pretty scary for them, if i recall.

Wish I could go.... was in Sydney for the Farewell concert, should be there for this one right?

C'mon Homebake isn't that bad. Its better since they made it over 18s only.

I'm hoping for a warm up show like the Finn Bros did back in 05...

Don't go, Ash. If you're worried about your safety, and after 05 you have a right to be, then don't go.

That said, The Living End aren't on the list. YET..... They have a new album out, so I think it would be reasonable to assume they could be added to the line up at a later date.

I'm with Mrs HP, I'm afraid. I wouldn't go again if you paid me.

Hey Neil!!! Festivals SUCK!!!!!!!

i'm pretty excited and wld love to go, CH and died pretty together - my gosh!!!

however, i wld be coming by myself and am a 5ft tall female. what do homebake veterans think ... is it safe for me to be there alone?, i know some of you wld never go again for safety reasons so i am a bit concerned ...
