Its sort of first come first served, the first half of the venue, closest to the stage should be standing and the back half should be seated, the tickets are not numbered, its basically general admission.

I suspect the show will be the same as on the last tour, they will get a great reception from the Norwegian crowd.

Hmmm, better sign up for the VIP email list next time. Now I've missed out on the pre-sale. Hopefully I will have some luck this friday. I'll be sitting behind my pc at 10.00 am.

For all you other unlucky Dutch fans, be sure to check www.eventim.nl ... and register beforehand!

Last time with the Carré venue I missed out because they (the venue itself and not ticketmaster) sold the tickets an hour earlier, by phone.

See you all in June. The last Dutch CH appearance (Bospop, Weert) was very nice but too short.

I would also like to thank Peter for all his efforts according the pre-sales. This is a great thing for the real fans.

Indeed a pity Berlin isn't on the list. It was a wonderful intimate concert in 2007 there.
I've met my girlfriend there! Smiler We're living together now in Deventer, the Netherlands. It can change your life, visiting a CH-concert!

We may yet see that all concerts are not yet announced, Berlin is a great place and i would make an effort to go there if they were playing.

I'll be waving at you all from row 1, seats 39 and 40 (I'm also going with my brother!).

Problem solved with purchase of Copenhagen tickets, international cards worked fine online once the general sale began today. Happily it's an unseated venue.

Now to decide if I should go for one more concert. Thinking about either Barcelona or Madrid, but they're right up by the midsummer weekend, so a difficult (but pleasant) choice...

Anyone has info about the venue in Cologne?

Yep. Essigfabrik is a new venue. Very tiny affair on the wrong side of the river. I don't really know why they chose that one over the LiveMusicHall or the E-Werk. They could have easily filled those larger venues. Cologne loves Crowded House. Expect a very long queue.

Going to Cardiff, Cologne, Barcelona, Madrid (so far)

Thanks autodidact. I got a ticket and now will make sure to drive down early in the day! It'll make a nice contrast with the Heineken Music Hall which is the largest concert venue (indoor) in The Netherlands.

The largest? Really? I saw two brilliant Duran Duran shows at that venue a while ago, but I always thought of HMH as small. Maybe because I only had eyes for what was happening on stage.

If anybody has a spare ticket (good seat) for the Amsterdam (or Brussels) show, please think of me. I managed to miss the presale (while I was in London for Neil) and I'd rather go to Spain than sit in Row 24 in Amsterdam (or Brussels). Yes, I am very demanding. ;-)

LOL am demanding too. If one of my friends drops out I'll get in touch. Going to Aberdeen, Amsterdam and Cologne so far. Need to get organised and then find out if there's any money left over for more Smiler

As for missing out because of Neil's show in London - well worth it I reckon from your videos on youtube. That must have been an absolutely amazing experience.

Although this will be Crowded House's biggest indoor show in The Netherlands ever, the HMH isn't interely the biggest concert hall in the country. It is the first step up from the clubs, with it's 5000 capacity, and the last step before the arena's such as the Rotterdam 'Ahoy.

The Amsterdam HMH is a very nice venue, very easily reached by train. It's also quite big, but not too big. In the back there is a slanted balcony and on the side there are also small balconies.

When you are seated in the back, bring some binoculars! I did it once and was able to see the stage.

The one not so positive thing about the Heineken Music Hall is...the beer. It's Heineken :-)

Luckily I was able to buy good tickets last friday (2nd class, but still in the middle front 'black box' part. I even got offered some tickets beforehand (thanks dutchgirl!), but I declined. It's still not easy to safely buy etickets secondhand.

See you all there!
