The Crowded House 'best of' will move waaaaaayyyy through 2007, from September 18 to its new date of January 8, 2008. However, I'm betting this title moves back into 2007."

Had a nosey on the website and looks like it's in among the new releases... the only release we know about is the box set...

I sent that bit to the site. Every little bit of promo helps and I know that site has a decent readership due to its association with thedigitalbits.com. I only sent them info about Time on Earth and the single. That "best of" has been bouncing around on EMI/Capitol's American schedule for a while, even before the reunion. It's tied in with a whole bunch of other best ofs that Capitol has been bringing out of their catalog artists. Could be just a Recurring Dream repackage since Neil seems to have some approval control over the use of the CH material.
