I watched the video 'Read My Mind' by the Killers (one of my new favorite groups), and I noticed that one of the guys was wearing a black suit jacket with little decals of some sort on the shoulders. I may be wrong, but they looked like little volcanoes to me. I'm going to check it out again 2morrow to see if I'm correct. If I am, it must be Crowdie inspired! The Killers are a great group, perhaps one of the few to come along in awhile with real talent. How awesome would it be if they were inspired by Neil and the boys???

Hmm not sure if Ch was an influence on the Killers. I have their first cd and love it! I have heard their second one. I saw a snippet on Much music about the singer (I think) answered an add looking for individuals with influences like the cure....

I like them but only know four songs of them. I think they sound like a brit pop band but so resemblance with Crowded House. But as i said i know too less about them.

Perhaps the outfit is influenced by the Crowdies

The music is definitely influenced by Duran Duran and other new wave type acts though, and they've admitted it (good on them).

I have come to realise that not everything has a CH influence or connection. There are elements of The Killers music which does remind me however of CH. As for whether their influences by CH I am unsure. I still like them though.
