"Can't Come Soon Enough".

That just probably relates to me waiting for an announcement of Aussie dates. Big Grin

There was already a fan club disc called "Fourplay", so that seems unlikely - though I don't know if they actually saw those fan club releases! But certainly Peter would remind them. The only problem with "789" is that it's a weak song; maybe they should just use the title for the LP and chuck the tune!

There being no real thread from album title to album title, I have no way of guessing where they might go - but I like "Indiscretion". For no real reason other than the word sounds good.

I like "Indiscretion" but a title like that cries out for a title track!

I'd LOVE the song "789" if they could so something about that chorus.

Hm, how about Home? Too corny? Or already suggested. How about Lost The Key?

I think they probably will never go with anything that smacks of a pun.

How about, Career?

How about Live The Way You Don't Know How?

How about Seen To The Last Little Thing?

How about Enjoying A Bad Time?

Wait, that's a little downbeat.

How about just simply: UH!!

Wait, that sounds more like a Squeeze album.

These are hard to come up with!

Perhaps something deceptingly simple: Introducing The Hardline According To...Crowded House?

The more I think about it..the more I like Twice If You're Lucky depending of course on whether or not they keep that song..and I sure hope they do...I was blown away by seeing/hearing it performed live the first time.

"Twice if you're Lucky" is a great one.

Crowded House have come around twice and we are lucky, so it kind of ties in. Smiler

Ooh I don't like 'Closure' It sounds so final, and like it's their last Eeker (bit like farewell to the world Big Grin)

'Natural Instinct' maybe, but I'm really just clutching a straws as I haven't really thought about it properly Big Grin

Crowded House are a pleasure that I have known..........and a treasure that I have gained.

In the "Twice If You're Lucky" vein, the more I think about it, the more I like the phrase from that song; "You Will Love This One". That'd be a great album title.

I'm still going to plug Either Side of the World. I really think Twice if your lucky sounds too poppish.....like a Britney Spears CD title.

I really think Either Side of the World has this grand thinking....but then takes it down to a small scale, with NEil's family in mind. But with this grand scale thinking, I think it goes in line with how CH is gradually conquering the world little by little, both sides of the world....to reach the point where they left off in '96.

But Either Side of the World sounds like a live album title, doesn't it? It does to me.

I'm sticking with Indiscretion. And if Neil doesn't want to write the title track, I'd be happy to do it for him. Wink

I nothing else, this thread have proved how difficult it is to come up with a good name for an album.

Speaking as someone who has put out a couple albums, sometimes there are obvious choices but when there isn't an obvious title you can struggle with it for months. It's near impossible to try and come up with an album title without knowing fully what songs and what mood the album will have. Also, this band has chosen some bizarre album titles in the past. Who would have ever guessed "Temple of Low Men" or "Woodface"?

I'm partial to "Just Keep Going", or "Kevin's Satin Lined Magicians Cape Sings For Your Dancing Pleasure". How about "Vulcanology Perspectives (A Soundtrack For Magma Flows)" or "Songs For Corneilius". Anything but "Crowdies Sixth" or "The Album of the Sixth House".
