I just thought I'd check and see whether there was any sign of our beloved Crowdies on the Channel 7 Sunrise website. Imagine my surprise when I scrolled to the bottom of their list of upcoming concert performers to find:

Great find Ash, I had,nt checked the Sunrise site yet this morning. I've emailed and asked them, should be able to watch most of the show this morning and see if they mention when, but I won't see it the rest of the week.

They changed my shifts at work, so I'll be able to watch some of the shows this week. And if it is Friday the 6th I have that day off so was thinking I'd get the nightride bus into the city and get up to the front

When someone find out the exact date, can you lease post it? I hope they archive the performance like they have in the past...

Still no word on when yet.

I think it's more likely that the guys would be on in the immediate lead up to Live Earth, that being on Thursday or Friday.

I just hope they give us some idea very soon as there are flight and accommodation changes to be made.

It would have to be the 5th or 6th July if not after Live Earth, I mean the guys are in The UK on the weekend and then on July 2nd (so that's the 3rd already here)me thinks the 6th or the 9th.

Still no response to my email or phone call to Sunrise asking if they have a date so playing the waiting game for now

Kochie said on today's Sunrise episode that there will be a huge announcement about Crowded House on Monday!

I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that they will be playing on the 6th July when they've had some time to recover from their jet lag.

I did'nt see the end of Sunrise today, but a friend told me about that, beat me to posting again Ash

The 6th would be perfect.

I wonder if they will be in the 7 shop next door afterwards

They just showed a glimpse of the Crowdies on the introduction....not sure what gig but it was recent. They've billed it as a "major announcement about Crowded House and Sunrise".....in addition to Live Earth!

Well at 6:35 they showed a snip from the webcast and said the guys would be touring OZ later this year, with their first show here being as part of Live Earth on July 7th, Kochie says "thats their first" ? to which Mel replies .... "allegedly" stay tuned

Okay - here it is

On Friday July 6 Sunrise is changing it's format for the day for The Crowdies who will be live in the studio and they will play 4 songs

there is a contest at yahoo7.com.au/sunrise

for money can't buy tickets, they will fly two people from each state to be in the studio with the guys
