Hey IP2, just had a week of Heavy Metal Drummer after watching Wilco's documentary on Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Great song, so catchy!

Now I have moved to Tim's Feeding the Gods and the Phil Judd song "Incognito in California". Another undiscovered gem of a song in the Frenz catalog. It must have been a massive radio hit in some parallel universe.

When I go back to California to see my in-laws in August, it will be part of my soundtrack. I'll need a nice convertible to live the California myth!

Funny the song took off in Aus 3 years later than the release, the ABC used to have filler filmclips/videos (no ads), and this was one of them. Came across the live version as well on YT Deep Purple and Ronnie James Dio

Every few years I get into a huge Steely Dan/Fagen groove and delight in how fabulous they were/are.

Fave "feel good" song of summer at the moment is Mr. Music by Lee "Scratch" Perry. Not sure about the video, but the song is very summery.
