Keys were played by a guy called James Feagai.

They are running to click track. All instruments on stage are played live. Keys and some bv's and extra guitar parts are on backing.

I actually produced all the backing tracks in my studio.

In regards to the similar thread. I know they are similar the reason i have done that is that the people in the previous threads wanted to know when i was posting videos.

The second specific thread is so new people who arent aware of what is going on in this thread are able to have oportunity to know what is going on too.

Thats the only reason I have it as a reply in here and a new thread.

I hope that doesnt offend anyone and I hope its ok for me to have it like that.

I could have made the reply in here a link to the other thread but i felt it easier just to post the youtube links direct on both.

I'm sure no one would be offended! And I think that anybody looking will find it whichever section it lands. Most people read both sections at the same time. I think the preference of the board moderators is to consolidate, so that people looking for info on one particular topic will find it all in the one place.

I understand what your say yet I would disagree that people go to both sections. My logic behind running both was that if you look at the number of hits in each sections it is not possible that people read both.

As an example some people like Neils Solo Career but not Crowded House. Or some love Split Enz but never got the whole Finn Brothers concept. and so on.

I personally dont really check the finn brothers one not becase I dont like the Finn Brothers work in fact I love some of it more then anything else. It's simply the fact that I dont see anywhere near as much activity on that section. That could be due to the Finn Brothers having their own presence on the web elsewhere that dedicate fans tend to go to instead of here.

I would hope that the readers and the moderators would understand this and allow it to be ok in this situation.

I have gone post crazy in the past due to my excitement and I appologised to the moderators whom I have to say are wonderful people. So i now have limited it to just a reply to this thread so the followers of this particular thread gain the chance to see the videos and the other thread is open to everyone else who might not be bothered to read this thread.

I guess I could have created a new thread entitled "To view videos of the finn experience click here", and then simply linked it to this thread and posted the links as replies on here but i feel people would be more annoyed by that one for they would be thrown around the site like a ragdoll and that personally bugs me when using forums.

Greg, I'm merely giving my impression of how the moderators generally run it around here. But I'm quite new, I've only been here since this past December - my impression may be wrong, and in any case, I'm not the one who has any "say" in such organizational issues.

I'll say this, though: there are a great many topics that would need to be posted redundantly in both sections (Neil & CH) going by that reasoning. Unless you can get people to post reduntantly in both, the net effect of dividing the location will be:

1) that the user who only sees one thread will be missing half the comment content (this is the most important reason for topic consolidation - one stop shopping! One thread with 20 posts in one place is twenty times more useful & effective than 10-20 separate threads of 1-2 posts each would be)

2) the more dedicated forum users may tire of being presented with the same thing multiple times.

'Nuff said from me on that. As I said, I'm not a moderator and it's not a particular interest of mine. Just an observation, for whatever it was worth.

I think maybe that is why i might have been better to actually create the topic on the videos and then put a link to that topic as replies in my previous topics that way people would know to talk about the videos in the video thread.

You could also add the link to the main topic to your signature - people would then see it everywhere you have posted!
