My gig went well, crowd really liked it, we played well and really enjoyed it.

Setlist (100% original material):

01 Top of the World
02 Death of an Intellect
03 Bullets in Kebab Shops
04 The Wicker Man
05 Edward Bland
06 A Shadow Over Innsmouth
07 Llyonesse
08 The Colour Out of Space
09 You Know I Enjoyed It

We went the Finn route, two acoustic guitars and our voices. I might put some of it up at myspace....

Oh to have been a fly on the wall of the Brisbane Hotel. Glad to hear the gig went well Camus. Can we expect a live album now? Hope there will be many more "Camus Live" experiences to come.

Any "backstage action" post gig Camus? That last song in the set would have won over a few fans... Wink

I was interested to see a poster for an experimental music/arts festival being held at Brighton with music inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft. The Festival is being organised by Thurston Moore from Sonic Youth fame, as opposed to Thirsty Moore, the notorious Hobart groupie. Eeker

It's great to see 100% original material being performed live. At the end of the day, it's all about the purity & integrity of the art form.

No gigs coming up this month. Confused

Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks in October.

I went and saw Jebediah last week and ended up singing Harpoon onstage. I've dreamt about playing with them since I was 13 so it was pretty awesome. I'm seeing the Grates some time next month (by myself! sigh) and on the first Tuesday of October, which is a 7th or something, I think the Sisters of Sass (my big band) are playing at Dizzy's Jazz Club in Richmond, and hopefully us rhythm chicks won't feel so suicidal now that we've found enough space on their non-existent stage.
