ooooh a list of guilty pleasure songs. teeheeheeheehee
um...ok

1. Zebrahead's cover of :"wannabe" yes the 1 by the spice girls. they take it punk it out a little and it's freakin' hilarious! My friend with whom I will occasionally dj refers to it as 1 of those "wrong covers".

2. "fruit salad' by the wiggles because hey it's a wiggly world.(I think if they made this song 20 years ago it would sing "chocolate ice cream..yummy yummy. lets make some cookies today they're fun to eat sugarsugarsugar... blahblahblah")

3. "ojos asi" by shakira (I confess to choreographing a halfway decent dance to this)

4. "you give love a bad name" by bon jovi. enough said.

5. ANYTHING by the opera babes (yes they are for real! and not nearly so bad as one might think)

can I incriminate myself anymore????(giggle)
OK all my lovely split frenz, your mission:

Late as usual--I see someone else posted a reply while I was laboriously making my list of "guilty pleasure" songs. What the heck, I'll post it anyway. No real order except the last one.

"Love Is A Battlefield," Pat Benatar. Actually, it's as much the video as the song that's the guilty pleasure.

"Goody Two Shoes," Adam Ant. Pop from a pretty boy, no redeeming social value, but it always makes me laugh and feel like dancing.

"Too Shy," Kajagoogoo. Lobotomized but darned catchy...

"Mickey," Toni Basil. No one who watched early MTV needs an explanation, I think.

And my all-time top guilty pleasure song:
"Break My Stride," Matthew Wilder. Purest cotton candy that for some bizarre reason lifts my spirits.

Now the question is whether anyone will still speak to me after reading this... Red Face

I'll take it as songs that mention the word "Computer" in the title or deal with computers:

Deeper Understanding - Kate Bush
Computer Age - Neil Young
I love You Miss Robot - The Buggles
Computer World - Kraftwerk
Weird Science - Oingo Boingo (OK, I know computers aren't mentioned in the title or lyrics, but in the movie they used a computer to create their "weird science" It's a stretch...

OK - Top 5 songs you always hear at weddings....

2. BARBARA STREISAND AND BRYAN ADAMS - I've Finally Found Someone
3. SHANIA TWAIN - From This Moment On
4. WHITNEY HOUSTON - I Will Always Love You (bad choice for a wedding song, since the song is about a couple breaking up!)

Passing the baton...Top Five Funeral Songs

Top 5 exercise songs, no order:

1) "Rehumanize Yourself," The Police. This song always gets me working so hard I'm gasping by the time it's over.

2) "Rock Lobster," B-52s. Who wouldn't be motivated? Wink

3) "Funky Town," Lipps Inc. Yeah, a lot of people would disagree, but it's a great step aerobics song.

4) "Kick It Out," Heart. Perfect for the end of a long run.

5) Multi-way tie among a bunch of songs off Fastball's first album ("Human Torch," "Make Your Mama Proud," "Eater," and "Knock It Down" are some of them). High-octane stuff.
