If you are tired of you own playlists and want to have some tunes flowing while cleaning the house and such, try Pandora.com.
You can type in your favorite artist and they'll start with a familiar track and follow it up with music in a similar style.
Here's a sample what I came up with from our Family:

Neil Finn: ANYTIME, then Fountains of Wayne, Matt Nathanson, Guster (a fav of Neil's), Keane, RubyHorse, Beck, TRY WHISTLING THIS, & Grandaddy

Crowded House: SOMETHING SO STRONG, then Weezer, U2, REM, Travis, PINEAPPLE HEAD, Simple Minds, Guster, LOCKED OUT, & Chris Isaak, FOUR SEASONS

Tim Finn: MIDNIGHT COMA, David Usher, Rooney, The Anniversary, STILL THE SONG, Ben's Brother, Alex Lloyd

Liam Finn: THIS PLACE IS KILLING ME, James, Tapes 'n Tapes, The Sea and Cake, Pinback, MUSIC MOVES MY FEET

Split Enz: SIX MONTHS, The Cure, XTC, INXS, Duran Duran, Modern English, & Icehouse

The Finn Brothers: Jars of Clay, The Jayhawks, WON'T GIVE IN, Barenaked Ladies, Perishers,

Some are pretty obvious connections. I was pleased to see Travis pop up so much. You put them in and you get a lot of Coldplay, Radiohead and Oasis. I tried The Beatles and got IN MY LIFE, a few Paul tracks, Rolling Stones and Queen

I like the surprises! Check it out!

Eh. I tried Pandora a few times before they blocked it outside the US. I remember I once told it Crowded House and it responded with...Richard Marx.

I used to use Pandora prior to moving jobs. I thought it was good, but it seemed to cycle the same limited number of tracks (20-30) when generating a 'Crowded House' or 'Neil Finn' playlist - I'm not sure if it's improved since then!

I agree that it's hit or miss. I've made a note of some of the non-Finn songs that have shown up but haven't made the effort to track down more by the artists. Interesting way to be introduced to new music, though.
