What is everyone listening to right now?

I've got the West 54th sessions in the background.

tori amos's new cd, strange little girls, great cover of depech mode's "Enjoy the Silence," on it.

The composer Liszt... some piano piece... not sure what it is, but it's relaxing anyway.

I'm listening to the wonderful sounds of Gooooooooooooooooooooldenboy!

adrian belew, "standing in the shadow"....it's not on tho, i've got it still swirling around in me head from last night, ugh!....

"Australia" by Guttermouth, interesting little punk song that goes for about 1 minute and the only word i can understand is MCG

I can't get the CD "Rockin' the Suburbs" by Ben Folds off my CD changer...it is superb. I find that a couple of songs have a sort of E.L.O. feel to them (ie. Annie Waits)....anyone else?

I also have Jeff Buckley's "Grace" stuck in my changer....I love "Hallelujah".

I also found out Wilco has a new album ready to go, but they can't find a label.....this upsets me greatly when a wonderful band doesn't get support from the music industry, yet crap artists get signed every five minutes.

Good stuff Doc. I can't recommend the new Ben Folds album highly enough. Anyone who's heard the single should note that nothing else on the album is anything like it - for the most part it's just amazingly tuneful piano-based pop tunes. Utterly fantastic.

And on the subject of Hallelujah, I'm currently listening to Rufus Wainwright's superb version of it (recorded for the Shrek soundtrack).

I've got the new Ben Folds album & had it for a while, but I haven't even listened to it yet. I got it free, that's why. I wouldn't bought it. I'll have to listen to it now thanks to Dr. Thirsty's review.

Yesterday I was listening to U2's The Joshua Tree - another all time classic, aswell as their new one (ATYCLB).

Tori's CD hasn't been off my player since I bought it. Thank Goodness for Ms Amos. The only let down is Happiness Is A Warm Gun. I'd have loved to have heard her sing that song, rather than put a 10 minute cut and paste backing track to her shrieking the Mother Superior line...

I agree with you, Finned, about Enjoy The Silence. Its rather fantastic isn't it?

I am listening to Elbows album called 'Asleep In The Back'!! It is bloody brilliant!! And if I was to turn the question around What haven't you listened to for a long time? That is Gomez! Where the bloodyhell are they!??? The album 'Bring it On' is definitely the tape in my Walkman tomorrow morning!!

I only ever listen to frenz related stuff but i ahve takena short break from the frenz stuff because it's all getting a bit to much and besides my parents used to like Neil Finn (until I continously played CH, SE and Neil's solo stuff really loudly while doing my homework).

Please forgive me! and I'm also listening to hunters and Collectors under one roof (yahoo)! I just can't get enough of it!

I listened to Ben Folds' new album Rockin' The Suburbs over & over & the verdict: (5 Stars - we need a star icon). The whole album is amazing. He's up there with Neil Finn, there are no fillers on the album.

I think i'm going to have to get me a copy of Ben Folds album now

But right now I'm listening to Alex Lloyd's new album Watching Angels Mend which susposedly features backing vocals from Sharon Finn, though i can't seem to hear her anywhere

And speaking of Gomez, they are now being described as a six-piece

Moonwash - I love Moonwash, listening to their album "for the southpaws!" for days now as far as I have it here, which has more than 25 songs on it as far as I know...

& I'm listening to Natalie Imbruglia's new album. The first single that day is really good but so is the whole album. The wait was worth it. This one's better than Left Of The Middle.
