Just noticed that they are coming to Austin in about a week (Sept. 5) and wondered if anyone had seen them on the current reunion tour. Very curious about this! Fastball is opening for them in Austin, whom I like very much too.

I caught them in Torrington last weekend and thought they were great. I thought their energy level was very high and was shocked to see Chris Difford say in his blog that he thought the energy level at the show I saw was 'sluggish.' The crowd was clearly loving the whole show. I'd say see them if you can, who knows when they'll do it again....

I almost skipped the Austin show simply due to the ticket price (it was $42 the day of the show).
But I figured how often are Squeeze going to come to Texas ? Definitely glad that I went. Great to hear all the classics - I wasn't able to see them in the 80s. I managed to get a spot near the front and had a great time singing along .
