and this is what the ad says.... "Join Jimmy as he unearths the stories behind the success of 10 legendary artists who have all made their own mark on Australian music history. Featuring Neil Finn, Peter Garrett,Marcia Hines, Diesel & many more, let them tell you about 'My First Gig' My First Gig with Jimmy Barnes stating Australian Premiere Monday 13 April 9.30 pm on MAX" I do not have any more info than that, except that each espisode includes a song , duet? |

Turned out not to be every line up - only solo and Crowdies. And a big emphasis on Woodface. No Finn Bros and no Enz! It was still great though. I will take all the Neil I can get. ~I believe in doing things backwards~ ~Under moonlight I stood wild and naked Felt no shame just my spirit awakened~ I hate that moment when the guys take off their guitars and Matt throws the sticks into the crowd and there is no more...for tonight anyway. |

Hmmm.. wouldn't worry Linda you didn't miss much. It was a bit disjointed. Lots of Neil talking about how Tim was very supportive, and an okay cover of Lola. Jimmy and Neil are both great singers, but together... eh...

Thanks for the reassurance Wise. Yeah, I wasn't sure about them together either I'm sure it will pop up somewhere in the future anyway and I hopefully I'll be set up again and ready to watch Crowdie's Soundcheck, Melbourne 2007 |
