Anybody know what time the doors open for the show tomorrow? Want to get a good place to stand so the queue starts here!

Anybody been to the hall before? How big is it and is it small enough to get a good view?

I've seen bands at Bush Hall, you get a good view from all over the place.

The hall is exactly what you'd think when you hear the work "Hall", i.e. a large rectangular room (with pretty details and lights and stuff). It holds no more than a few hundred people, and has a flat floor. The stage is raised at the far end, I've never seen any sort of barrier, so you can get really close to the performers.

Here is a photo which may give you some idea of the size (Thea Gilmore playing back in 2004, I was against the wall raised a little by standing on a bit that jutted out):

(Here are some more Bush Hall shots from a Kiwi photographer by the name of Andy Sheppard...mostly shot from right in front of the stage with the crowd: http://www.lowlightphoto.co.uk...Wc6q#295835594_vKhGU)

Its a lovely place to see people play, so personal and intimate. Enjoy the gig Wink Oh, if you are queuing then there is no cover at all unless you're one of the first in line and can hide in the doorway, so if its wet take an umbrella or good raincoat. One last thing, I often ate at Nandos just down the road when going to gigs at the Bush Hall Wink
