Anybody know what time the doors open for the show tomorrow? Want to get a good place to stand so the queue starts here!
Anybody been to the hall before? How big is it and is it small enough to get a good view? |

I've seen bands at Bush Hall, you get a good view from all over the place.

The hall is exactly what you'd think when you hear the work "Hall", i.e. a large rectangular room (with pretty details and lights and stuff). It holds no more than a few hundred people, and has a flat floor. The stage is raised at the far end, I've never seen any sort of barrier, so you can get really close to the performers.
Here is a photo which may give you some idea of the size (Thea Gilmore playing back in 2004, I was against the wall raised a little by standing on a bit that jutted out): (Here are some more Bush Hall shots from a Kiwi photographer by the name of Andy Sheppard...mostly shot from right in front of the stage with the crowd: http://www.lowlightphoto.co.uk...Wc6q#295835594_vKhGU) Its a lovely place to see people play, so personal and intimate. Enjoy the gig |

just about to set off on my epic 5 hour journey down to London for this, SO excited!.. Neil's about the only artist I'd travel 5 hours to see.. I did it for the 7WC show at Dingwalls, ended up stood about 3 feet away from Neil.. great night! hoping to get reasonably close tonight
Will write a review on the bus back tomorrow AM... ENJOY everyone! Vereor English trees in my garden chords entwined like a requiem |
