I created an express account and was all set for tickets to go on sale at noon. But then it wouldn't use my express account. So I had to log out and get tickets manually. I had row D, but was bumped to row J by the time lost.
BUT I GOTS MY TIX!!!!

I'll be the redhead with the other redhead (Betty) ... only I'll be the one with the Australian accent (only think more Nicole Kidman than Steve Irwin... PLEASE!)
Cheers all.
And fear not. Getting tickets is a pain in the rear end all over the world.
(*Recalls the time she stood in line overnight during a cold Melbourne winter, to get tickets for CH at the Palais in St Kilda.... was first in line, no phone bookings and STILL got shafted outta the best seats!*)
New Yorkers be happy already. You could be in CT, (*shudder*) and have to travel already, to see your idol... (oh, sorry, hang on... upstate NYers can ignore that bit, as you'll probably be travelling further than I will...)

Actually the Row D ones I lost were way over to the side, the Row J ones I got are on the centre aisle. So I'm not too dissapointed.[/qb]
My Row D tix aren't that far to the side - they're between the center and side aisles - so maybe they're not the same ones that you had. Sorry, I didn't mean to be insensitive to the fact that you lost Row D seats.
*pleads forgiveness for getting a little overexcited*
At any rate, I've never seen Neil before and am quite looking forward to it!

Well, I got my tickets today. What an ordeal for NYC!
Went to Town Hall at noon, no line, find out from the box office that they won't have tickets for a quite a few weeks. Tony, another huge Finn fan and I ask for an alternative. We go to the nearest ticketmaster, it is in an HMV on 46 and 5th ave - their machine is broken! Go to the NBA store, wait in a 20min line while some woman and the ticket person work through some issue. By the time I finally get to the front, I get stuck with row J at 12:30pm.
Oh well, can't complain. Next time I will plan better. It seemed a little tooo good to be true when I realized that the Town Hall line was me and Tony.
PS I'm also a redhead. Why so many redheaded Neil fans????

yeah everbody hates ticketmaster, but it's a tough busines and everybody who is a fan is really passionate about their ticket buying experience. The expectations couldn't be higher and the process couldn't be more complicated. My advice, stay away from outlets, stay off the phone, set up an express ordering account NOW and be prepared with multiple browsers open and ready to fire when tickets go on sale. yes? Still waiting for the CA tickets to go on sale.

Someone PLEASE tell me what to do about Town Hall tickets. Ticketmaster has been useless all day, saying tickets are available for the show, but not available for purchase. What does that mean? Am I living in Bizarro world, where Neil exists and plays wonderful concerts, but my wife and I are not permitted to see him? Arrrrgh!!! I registered to purchase online at ticketmaster.com, but the website will not let me purchase tickets, nor (I was told) would it help to go directly to a Ticketmaster outlet. "Try again later," I was told cryptically by the barely intelligible Ticketmaster salesmoron. Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions for getting two to the Town Hall show on 1/29 would be greatly appreciated. Bless you all...

Yes it's very frustrating. Tickets have been sold and the guy I spoke with said tickets were still available, meaning that it is not sold out yet, but tickets are not currently on sale. BOO-HOO.

Keep checking!! Couple years ago I was broken-hearted about not getting U2 tix. I was clicking on the seating chart, explaining sadly to the kids, "This is where I'm not sitting." The kids, being very cool, interested me in other sites to get my mind off that heartbreak.
Then one day, when I checked again, there were two seats available. So then I was happy and got tix!!!
Here's me now : best of luck gettin your Neil tix 'n have a great time!!!!!

Paesano, I registered on TicketMaster while I was waiting for the tickets to go on sale at noon. When they went on sale it wouldn't let me buy. I logged out and entered my order manually and got my tickets.
Give it a try buying without logging in.

Seems NYC tickets have been held back for a while, I just posted the following info on another thread. Hope this helps anyone looking for tickets. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here's what I've found regarding Town Hall, NYC, Jan. 29th.
According to Clear Channel Neil tickets go on sale 12/13.
I guess those of us who got our tickets the day they went on sale will be good for the 29th.
No wonder that when I went to the box office at Town Hall the guy told me that he knew nothing about the concert. Ticketmaster did after checking in their computer...but it wasn't listed on their printed schedules...
